Nice auto. I don't think there are any grass stains or chips on your tail blade rotors. How many tail blades and torque tube crown gears must you sacrifice to get to this point? Newbies need to know there is a price to pay to get to this level.
It's nice to see nice auto's I try them with my 450's and I have to drop them like a stone to keep the speed of the blades up and mine are soooo messy, soooo rough... I salute you.... well done.... you make it look easy but I know it is not....
If your stick goes fx +/- 11 degrees with 0 degrees at center, you will descend with the stick below center. Probably between -3 to -6 degrees negative. Listen to the rotorspeed and you will know when you are doing it right.
The blade 400 will be VERY tricky to autorotate. Enjoy
@brotherblonde Best way to get used to a/r is to just hover and snap the throttle hold switch. Hover about 1ft with nose into the wind. Carefully, feel for the throttle hold switch. Pause. Don't do anything special with the collective, and just hit the throttle hold. That's it!!! It will work with a blade 400 and even a 250. Make it a habit to end every flight.
Autorotation means landing a heli power down (motor only). You have to invert the blades (pitch) on the main rotor in order to maintain sufficient rotation speed while descending. then at the end you reverse the pitch to slow down and land safely. Not easy to do and requires a some altitude.
fick du det? va? fick du det? JAPP! :-)

Very nice my friend. Have you experimented with additional flybar counterweights to buy you more rotational inertia ?

Very nice!
The yellow streak down my back is preventing me to attempt auto's above about 10'.

Fantastic.
Question..After you hit throttle hold, where do you have your throttle positioned during the A/R? 1/2 way, at hover setting? 3/4 ??
When you pitch up for landing, do you then increase throttle(collective) at the same time to cushion the landing?
I have a Blade 400 but haven't practiced any a/r"s yet. Any tips you have ??? Thanks

I' will start doing what you suggested & see how it goes.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the comment :)
I always fly with the gyro in HH (Heading Hold) mode also in autos.

not really enuff weight to a blade400 to be consistently successful !-i have one and dont try them.

@flemmingdjensen What Radio are you using with the 600? What`s your pitch curve? Nice video man....

Man that thing autos like a dream. I have been trying to learn inverted autos on my 500, but lord is it hard.
