these ppl saying the tranny isnt shifting right.....i used to think that after driving both a 98 5.4l expedition and a 98 5.4l f150.......slow shifters but they get the job done....the newer 4r100's shift much firmer and quicker. 1-2 is where you notice it the most. seems to slip its mway into gear more then it should.... anyone who knows anything about cars knows the quick fix for that is a shift kit or at minimum a programmer to up the line pressures

There's nothing wrong with the shifting. If you look, he starts out in first, then shifts to second, then puts it in drive. That is why it seems like it is not shifting right.

Look at his Gear selector display. it looks like it is about to pop out of drive and into 2nd. My poiny being that when I was driving on the highway one day mine was at the same point and my 97 f150 would not shift correctly. I pulled over just in case and noticed the selector. Once I put it ON Drive it shifted fine, probly the same thing going on here is my guess.

@sportyuricchio 10 second 0-60 will land you in the 17s maybe 18s. my 89 firebird 2.8L was rated 10.1 0-60 and 17.1@79mph in the 1/4. never actually ran it tho. my 08 V6 f150 would beat it.
