@archeng22... it is mandatory.. every man in Korea is required to have a 2-year military training. there are no exemptions, unless your an athlete and you gave pride to their country with a GOLD medal. Actually, I find it so unfair.. Rain (or even other big artists) had bring so much PRIDE to Korea through the most influential kind of forte which is ENTERTAINMENT.. but still he has to go. :(

I was personally at this show and even without a complete understanding of what he was saying everyone "felt" his feelings at that moment. I cried like a big baby but I personally don't think him going into the military is a "negative" thing. This man works damn hard and the military will be a "vacation" for him. A vacation he really needs. I hope he will use his vacation days (actual days he will have off from military duties) to enjoy time with friends and family,
