It's not that the players turned to crap, they are fit for the offense RR is trying to implement. Sure there are players who have potential but UM lost their starting QB, RB, both WRs and 4 out of 5 OL. Throw in learning an entirely new offense (with an immobile frosh QB) and any team is going to struggle.
