I'm a spurs fan so I idolised him during his time there, and I've never met him, but I must admit he did always come across as a bit too full of himself and above the ordinary supporters as you say, I could be totally wrong of course.
That would have been up there with the greatest ever goals i.m.o. and the shot was going in aswell, if not for a spectacular finger tip save by Nigel Martyn. That game also included a Ginola 30yard volley goal and a Sicknote 40yard bullet!
@MrLilsam But you lost!?! LOL - If I were you, considering you lost anyway, I would've been pleased to see one of the greatest goals of all time (if it had gone in)! Anyway, the two Spurs scored weren't bad, and Ginola got one!
it such a shame youtube wasn't invented earlier...i mean, we could have had all the footages and clips of Ginola's skills here...but i can't find much of those...really wanna see them all. Perhaps, the most brilliant two-footed player i've ever seen (other than Zidane and Ronaldo)...Ginola is my idol!
Damn keeper! I mean, it was an excellent save, but Ginola is one of my favorite players ever, and had that gone in (and it WAS going in, if not for the keeper) i think it would be considered the best goal ever in the premiership IMHO
Right footed..u can confirm it when a player takes a corner or free kick or when when brings the ball forward in a run as just seen. His left foot is just superb for crossing & shooting...that's why he was 2 x players writers footaballer of the year when at Spurs !!
its an amazing run...OH MY GODNESS UP THE INSIDE OF THE POST

this attempt is similar to the goal George best scored in early 70"s, apart from George ran from opposite side!

was he left or right footed?

ok thanks for that but ive seen him take (and score) with a free kick against barnsley and that was with his left.
BERBKILLZ 4 years ago
true...perhaps he's just 2 footed..haha.. but his normal touches are usually on his right foot...which is why he is a right footed i suppose.cheers !

yeh i remember that - one of the best saves i've ever seen. wouldve been a mentalist goal had it gone in
