Urdu/Arabic/Persian literature has made immense contribution to humanity - a result of which is Ghazals. JS deserves to be commended for bringing this reality to fore.
one of my favs ...... exactly this is the ghazals whose lyrics come on my lips wenever i feel relaxed and gud .... reminds me of my college days wen no other album used to be played on my stereo .... only jagjit singh ji ki ghazals
reminds me of thiose days when this album was released....I was 19 and used to burn midnight oil preparing for my engg. entrance exams...this ghazal was one of the many that I used to play while working on calculus/mechanics problems all nights..also was recovering from a broken heart amist the pressure of academics...music especially Jagjit was a real help!!
RIP Jagjit saheb..U were and will remain the Best.
