  • Jim Nance is my dad, always had great stories about the group.

  • dick gifford is my grandpa!! im not kidding!!

spam all you want, but i swear to god he's my grandpa!!

  • Thank you, Grady, for posting this video. Like Roy, I had the great fortune of singing under the direction of Dwight. But the greatest honor was to sing in the 1A4, (we were drafted for Valentines Day), with Dwight in the later years of his life. As the "Baby" of the group, Dwight would get a lot of mileage out of the fact that I was born the year he got his gold medal. Thank you again for this.

  • Grady, Thanks for posting this on You Tube. I had the privilege of knowing and singing with Dwight for 10 wonderful years! I'm still in barbershop today and enjoying it more than ever! Dwight was as inspiration to us all and had an enormous talent. You did a wonderful job telling us about the Four Hearsemen! Thanks. Roy Hedtke in Amarillo

  • great job Grady. This is LaMar Elliott, youngest song of Baritone Dwight Elliott who passed away in April of 2003. I want to thank Grady for all he has done for my family and for the Four Hearsemen. They will always be my favorite quartet and for good reason. They loved barbershopping and the audiences they performed for. They cared for their audiences and it showed in there performances. I believe was sang at my Dad Memorial Service and not a dry eye was found in our group. Thanks Grady
