  • So pretty I love it

  • wonderful i like it

  • beautiful!

  • Where did u get the ranchu?

  • By the sound of water, I need to go pee

  • its a 160 gallon preformed pond from Home depot I think its only about 20" inches deep.

they say 20 gallons per fish is good, but all depends on filtration.

  • What are the dimensions? I am thinking of getting my own fancy goldfish pond with orandas and fantails and maybe others. Do you have any tips on depth or how much water per fish? If you did that would be awesome!

  • your fish are very nice, I saw 1 of them is "oranda panda"?

  • @teluxks yes it was, thanks

  • They are adorable! I'm thinking about setting up a patio pond for my goldies next summer so they can have a change of scenery.

  • why do people hate algae for their pond? isn't it a good natural food for the fish?

  • @leofil578 yeah it is, but sometimes it just over takes the whole pond and filter system.

  • They all look deformed

  • i have a pond to but it has alot of algae in it do you know a way to get rid of most of these NATURALLY?

  • @goldfishhobby Well for green water use a U.V or string algae get by hand and scrubbing and add some shade and plants

  • @svtjulian Help me watch my video and tell me what to do with my bronze oranda

  • @svtjulian I want to know how fast does a goldfish grow in a big healthy pond?

  • @goldfishhobby a pleco

  • @goldfishhobby you can also add algae eaters or mistery snails

  • @MegaPlanelover goldfish can live in very cold weather. I had a pond w/ goldfish in it that froze over one winter and the next spring the ice melted and the fishes were still swimming around. They dont do well in hot water though. u dont need much space for a pond unless u want a large one. above ground ponds can be as big or small as you want.

  • what kind of filter to you have, b/c i have a 40 gallon pond and i need a filter.

  • @MrMomoitin Why not just get a 40 gallon aquarium? it's easier to maintain and you get to see you beauties!

  • @sammymunir 40 gallon is to small for goldfish. The bigger the tank the whole lot easier it is to maintain them healthy!

  • I love all your videos! Have you posted any new ones on our forum lately? Don't think I've seen you at the AquaPuppies website for a while. :)

  • speechless... nothing i can ask more... i really like ur panda oranda

  • how long do you keep your goldfish in the pond? like wen does it get to cold since i hav a black moor fancy goldfish in a pond now and i was woundering wen i should take it back inside

  • That Panda Oranda is stunning. Actually, all of your goldies are incredible. I would love a fancy pond. But I'm too afraid of birds eating them. We have Herrings in Victoria.

  • Hope I'm not too late to comment ;) It's a very lovely pond indeed. I really love the Calico oranda and Calico ranchu. Sorry, I've been absence for a long while. - Jimmy. Did you quarantine them first and treat them for flukes and bacterias ?

  • where do you buy ur goldfish at

  • @gpreston1000 alot of stores all over very hard to find nice ones.

  • my gold fish will be like that one day then i can give it to my nan who has a pound

  • i like that big calico one!

  • You really look after your fish! you've got a aqauriam and a pond! Wow. they must love itt! :)

  • @XxMariaBabyGalxX Yeah they do!

  • GOLDFISHIgammaTBANKI

    GOLDFISHIgammaTBANKI

  • why dont you make the pond deeper

  • @gamyod123 its about 18inches I heared they will grow better in low water.

  • @svtjulian nice pond!! 18 inches is actually a very good depth....they say deeper than 2 feet is not good for the goldfishes

  • ummm is that duckweed in between??

  • @ebanm100 no plastic plant.

  • @ebanm100 such a neat job then...admirable:)

u added pebbles instead of gravel n stuff, right?

  • i think i'm gonna start a fancy goldfish pond, this is nice..

  • wow

great idea of mixing in different types of fancy goldfish.

their colors are amzing, keep up the great work

  • Great looking pond! I'm in the planning stage for my pond. Thanks for the comments, and if my fluval fails the I will look into getting what you have. I've been looking for panda oranda's, like the one you have, and can't find them. I just bought two black ranchu's. Check out the vid in my channel.

  • How many gold fish could i put in a 250 litre pond

  • Beautiful Pond, and beautiful fish!! Well Done!

  • how many fish could i put in my pond it will be about 2000 litres

  • is that a snow leopard??

  • so beautiful... maybe one day when i move out on nyc i can set up a pond like this... - nyc -

  • very nice i have a 70 gallon flowerpot i made one into much smaller and fewer fish though all fantails, like the water hyacinth wish thats stuff was legal in texas

  • Beautiful video! how do you get the whole widescreen feature of your video? I have a widescreen camera too, but cant get it to fill up the black spaces of the video player?

  • Hooly crap,big goldfish!

  • would small animals like raccoons eat the goldfish?

  • Yes they will! Good thing I don't have to worry about racoons where I live.

  • @007654567 yeah, i had an above ground pond and racoons ate some of my goldfish

  • @007654567 Yup. Other animals like possums, neighborhood cats, foxes, and sometimes dogs will go after them too if they're small enough and slow enough to catch.

  • SWEET! how big is that pondish container? and what do you use as a filter? it seem like the water level is low.... is that to prevent them from jumping out? Nice set up, the fish are huge! i've had mine for about a year and they aren't that big and they are supposed to be the bigger varaity... (varaity...lol.. i suck at speeling, sorry) LOVE THIS THO! good goldfish care!

  • how long did it take for the fish to grow that big

  • about a year. some grow faster than others

  • @svtjulian Do you keep all your goldfish in the pond most of the time (other than winter?) Or do you have some in an aquarium? Would you say that pond goldies definitely grow larger than in a aquarium?

  • @yimmieheehee Yeah all the time. They grow bigger in the pond.

  • how do gold fish live in that water. plz answer back.

  • What do you mean?

  • is in it to coold for them.

  • That was taken in Jan 1 2009. I live in sunny Southern California the temp. of the water was 62 degrees that day. If its to cool they would not even move. They are still alive today!

  • They can tolerate 60-70 degrees. 45 degrees at the most but no less than that.

  • i love ur ranchus how big is ur pond ?

  • hello can i buy one of your black ranchu from you?

  • Sorry, not for sale.

  • Wow~ My dream pond. I wish I would have one for my adorable ranchu. Please post updated video from time to time. It is relaxing to view them. Thanks.

  • Thank you so much! I will post some soon.

  • what do you use for filtration

  • I use for now, MATALA EZ BIO 20 PRE-FILTER, a 1100 gph pump and two matts on the waterfall weir and about 5 pounds of ceramic rings for bio filtration. Oh and a tetra pond 1 pond filter good for a 500 gallon pond.

  • AWW LOOKY AT TEH GOLDFISH! :D

  • Very nice... love to see more pond vids. How big is it ? how many gallons ?

I will post some new vids later today (Samson & other fishes)

  • Thanks! Its about 200 gallons. I just ordered a 300 gallon stock tank to add to this one. I will post new pond videos in the coming weeks.

  • Nice pond , i love the smallest red ranchu is looks very fun jaja

  • nice little pond, they feed well , must be warmer there in Jan than over here. mine don`t eat in the cold weather.

  • Comment removed

  • i luv the pond! i really wish i will have one like that in the future! so nice! i envy you lol! and the fish too, how big were they when you first got them? they are huge lol, so nice oh!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks! I love relaxing next to it after a long days work. I got most of them at a young age. Hopefully now they will grow even bigger!

  • how old are they now mostly? what do you do if there's a heavy storm? the water won't be polluted? i mean i can never have goldfish, they die easily for an indefinite reason even i take good care of them. the water seems so important for them.

  • Well do your goldfish live in a large tank? 10 gallons per 3 inches of goldfish body, includes tail and fin. Does it have filters? Air pumps? Do you overfeed them? Overfeeding causes deaths a lot. So does shock from too much water being replaced during water changes. I change water about 5% of the total water daily and slowly add water in so it doesn't disturb them badly.

  • whoa!

    those fish are big

    wait their not big....

    their huge

    nice pond

  • Nice goldfishes so fat. lols

just wondering, how much did the whole set up cost you ?

  • Thanks. Well the total cost was around $500 not including the fish.

  • Nice pond :)

  • fat goldfish i would put some koi in there or is it not big enough

  • I love Fat Goldfish! the pond is small, only about 200 gallons. Koi need 100 gallons per fish so I would only be to have 2 big koi here.

  • Great fish!! Oh, wats your pond made of?

  • Plastic pvc.

  • thanks!

  • awesome!

  • do you have any blackmoor or fantail in your pond? I've heard there the best fancies to keep in a pond.

  • I have a blackmoor that turn orange. I don't have any fantail. I think all fancys are good for pond, as long you have a net for protection from predators.

  • H'mm that was probably a young telescope, all goldfish are black when there young and change colour when they reach maturity, except for shubunkins and those which are then same colouration as them, they are usually born pale grey/white and gradually get more colours as they get older.

  • thanks! its about 200 gallon

  • Omgosh, its so pretty! How big is your pond?
