hey am getting a 2002 or 2004 Subaru wrx as my first and would like to know what are a couple good mods i can do to improve the hp and torque also still be good on gas and not cost a whole lot
@mohrpimpin wrx is a 2.0L, still just as good of an engine in my opinion, just a little less displacement. Not sure about the WRX, but on the foresters, the uppipe has a catalytic converter. A common mod is to use the up-pipe from a STI which is Catless. Also the STI intercooler is much larger than the WRX and XT intercooler, but i think has a slight bit more pressure lost than the WRX or FXT intercooler, so dont upgrade the intercooler unless you switch to a FMIC or plan to raise your boost.

it is a pipe with a 45° bend welded to a flange then bolted on in place of the cat back so it really doesn't effect anything. at minimum all you need is a stg.2 tune for this setup.
