She should have came in sooner in this song because Bono sounded kinda weak singing it and I agree with someone comment below, the edge's little solo had no energy in it. My 2 cents - Bono slowed down the song...the fergie chick was a 'pick me up' - Mick - sounded good the symphony accompanyment during chorus and ending (probably a keyboard synth) was jagged...Keef would have completed this - he's really the 200 proof in a bottle of Everclear - - Nothing against Bono - - or U2 they are softer derivative of Rock - Cheers.

As a rabid U2 fan I can honestly say that I think you are correct. (The second verse was flat) Bono seems a little tired and world weary these days. (Just saw them in NY, Phoenix and Las Vegas)

U2's music is still sublime (love "Unknown Caller" from the new record) and they are still tremendous in concert, but something was lacking. Whenever Bono cuts his hair (last time it was the "Pop" tour) the Samson effect occurs. Also, Bono looked a little intimidated by Mick - who can blame him?

I'm guessing you're talking about when Patti, Lou and Bruce were singing "Because The Night" - Patti flubbed the opening lyrics repeatedly despite the huge teleprompters - everyone in the audience knew those lyrics. :)

I'm a Jeff Beck fan, so Clapton's gallbladder problem worked out VERY well for me - Jeff's set with Tal, Vinnie and Jason was SUPERB! :)
