It is off an ep called the coconuts. It begins with a rendition of "If I only had a brain". And includes this song, the coconut song and a couple other totally fun songs. They are introduced by Kid Creole...Commrades and Commraids behold the bravest women I have ever known the CCCoooocccoonuts....Yeah I played my copy till it died. I'd kill for a new one as well!

the funniest thing on that album is the first track, where august darnell/Kid Creole is singing: "Don't take my Coconuts", ant for the Rest of the album, they sing alone, but he's playing bass..... and there's an old german song on it: "Kriminaltango"

I have the cassette tape Coconuts-Don't Take My Coconuts and wish they would release it on CD. I played this tape so much it was beginning to wear out. This song appears on the cassette, the one and only album The Coconuts made solo without Kid. We need this one on CD.

Adrian Kaegi really is a brilliant choreographer. Check out the first 22 seconds of video. The Coconuts move flawlessless through that tangle. To see more of her subtle but genius moves, go see Kid Creole's live version of "Annie I'm not your daddy." Outstanding visual performance to deliver the Kid's cheeky but groovy beats. Great stuff. It's sad, but this genre will never return, so enjoy it while you Coconut-can.
