oh man take a pill. It may be called 'A Part of Us' but it's easy to see why people would refer to it as 'Oh Ti Moune'. And finally who cares that there is a little boy in the cast??? There are no specific requirements for casting and it may have been a directorial choice or a desire to include anyone who wanted to be a part of the show. Get over yourself!
What an ignorant question. There's a little boy in the cast of characters called "Young Daniel." Amazingly, the little boy in the video is Aaron Acosta, a young actor who played "Young Daniel." Almost as amazing is the fact that this was a YOUTH PRODUCTION of "Island" which might further explain why there might be a little boy in the cast. I hope this helps....
If you know so much about the show to know the correct name but you don't know there is a character in the show who is supposed to be playedd by a young boy-- nice job buddy!
Oh, honey, sorry - the show has NO little boy in the cast. If they added one for the crap Jr. version, like all crap MTI versions do, that's another story...nice job sister! Anything else?
If this is "Once on this Island Jr." it says nothing about it on the INFO section of this video...*kisses+hugs*
The little boy is playing the role "Daniel's young son" which comes out at the very end of the musical, but that role does not have any dialogues and is a non-singing role. Go check wikipedia for the character list of "Once on This Island". This role I guess is not necessary needed to be played by a little boy, but that role DOES exist.
I must have seen the original Broadway prouction a dozen times - The actor who played Daniel played Daniels's son as well (as most of the performers doubled most of the parts in the show) - this is obviously OOTI Jr. which is a watered down version of the original - and I guess includes a "little boy". Lame.
Wow, what difference does it make, import26. It's called creative license, and it is the right of each director who takes on the show. If this particular director chose to cast a young boy in the role of Daniel's Son, so what.
Aaron did so awesome in this show!!! He's a cutie pie=)
