  • @victorisarobot You are right I was going to post a similar coment and then I saw yours. I am almost 50 yo and throught all my life the only bright star ever in the sky was Venus. So some weird is going on for sure.

  • I dont think this is jupiter. Cause i dont see any of its moons.. wich normally i see them with my telescope..

  • First, off. Nemesis is a HYPOTHETICAL brown dwarf that orbit the sun far out in the Oort Cloud.

Second, The reason why Jupiter is brighter is because it's currently around the closest it can be to Earth. It's not on the other side of the Sun or otherwise, which would make it virtually invisible in the night sky.

  • i've noticed it too. i think it's b/c the sun is expanding.

  • its moving very slow... i think its a geostationary satellite so it just seems like its moving when actually its just following our earth's rotation ... that would account for how slow its moving ... either that or just some space debris ... its nothing significant

  • Hi thanks for the video.I captured something similar over Christchurch New Zealand the past few nights. Please take a look at my channel as and comment as im still unsure if its a planet, start ufo etc

  • I was sky watching the night of September 26th around midnight. I saw Jupiter brighter than I or my 53 year old father ever saw it. Could this be due to the storm belts vanishing reflecting more light from the sun? Or maybe it is a rouge sister star? Who knows...

  • It is not Jupiter because you can see 4 of Jupiteer's moons easily, and there are none here. So maybe you have Venus.

  • Maybe it's my eyes playing tricks, but on Jupiter...look at the direction of the comet/planet, it looks like there is a tiny flare coming off Jupiter in the direction of the comet/planet the whole time...?

  • @chondram The flare is most likely a star behind Jupiter.

  • ufo

  • Planets get brighter due to "Opposition". You can Google what 'Opposition" means in Astronomy terms. This is nothing special.

Seriously, take the time to find out what "Opposition" means in astronomy terms and how it works.

  • I don't know what that is but thankx for getting it on film. A brown dwarg would show up great on IR camera footage. but this os moving too fast to be a star.... or is it. Look up a vid call "follow the money" on youtube.

  • There is no planet X...

Who would name their planet X come on! :D

  • One more thing: I find it really sad that someone added these really stupid comments to a really nice video, showing a familar object, something that anyone can watch any night when Jupiter is visible. And about the brightness: When this was shot Jupiter was nearly in opposition (closest to earth), which it is is about every 13th month. Jupiter is then brighter than the brightest star (4th brightest object in the sky after the Sun, the Moon and Venus). This is normal, and can be seen by anyone.

  • Since Galilei saw this in 16010 (Wikip: Galilean moons), this has been familiar to astronomers, a binocular is all you need, It's Jupiter & 3 of it's moons (the fast one, a slow one in lower left corner and an even slower in upper right). All tiny objects are background stars among wich Jupiter, in opposition, seems to move right. "Jump" in movie to see 2 slower moons change position compared to stars. The fast moon is beyond Jupiter, then slow down as it begins to turn back in front of Jupiter.

  • the location it was shot from is too high for Planet X, that isn't visible

    that far north yet.

  • I think the little thing is a flying saucer, I think it subtly changes direction

more downward, and is closer than Jupiter.

  • WOW put your pointer on the other stars in the backround and see how much this freaking thing moves were in big trouble save your milk jugs and fill them with water and stock up on can food something wicked comes this way

  • FOR ASTONISHING FACYS ABOUT THE UNIVERSE, JUST TYPE:

    Quran and Science

    SVEN PARTS!

  • Listen up people google David Morrison he is a NASA space scientist he will tell you the truth. NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN! If planet x/ Nibiru or whatever people call it is out there and it is so close to earth why is it we cant see it with the naked eye?? Whatever people are putting out there on Youtube are full of shit they dont know anything.

  • Wait! If the object was seen moving away from the planet, why would it slow down? I mean if it is life from another planet, would the not continue on a high rate of speed as you first created through pointing out the location when editing, twice. But as the craft or thing gets closer to the edge of the screen it begins to slow down. Sorry, just cant see it being a real shot, seeing how it takes years upon years before the shine of the gases can reflect and we here on earth are able to see it.

  • some people say its real and some people say its fake, but what i really want to know about nibiru is that is it actually heading towards this direction?

  • @FuryStar2008 thats wat i wanna know

  • cool but that is not Planet X

  • @TabooMasterWatcher It means Nibiru is brighting up Jupiter, its a failed dwarf star that emits little light as it gets closer to the sun

  • Stellarium shows no object at that point near Jupiter on that date and time, so I don't know what the slow moving object is.

Maybe you caught an NEO (Near Earth Object). Congratulations if you did.

  • @TheDoug76 I'd say you are right. He either caught an NEO or an asteroid that was in the same line of sight but probably much closer to us than Jupiter. The relative motion seems to confirm this, but I would have to know the exact time and date and where exactly he was to confirm this.

  • Jupiter looked brighter this year because it was at or near it's perihelion (closest approach to the sun). It reached this point in it's orbit at the time it also reached opposition with Earth (our closest approach to Jupiter).

So of course it was closer than usual, and as a result brighter than usual. It made for a very detailed view in my telescope.

Also, despite the 2012 movie, there is no planetary alignment in 2012. And there would be no effect even if there was.

  • THE MOVEMENT YOU ARE SEEING IS THE SOLAR SYSTEM ROTATION. IF YOU DO A FRAME BY FRAME AT ABOUT 1:13 YOU CAN SEE ALL STARS IN THE BACKGROUND MOVE WITH THE "STAR NEXT TO JUPITER. ITS ACTUALLY QUITE AWESOME TO WATCH. I DO IT ALL THE TIME ON WINDOWS WORLD TELESCOPE. ITS JUST THE ROTATION OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM, RELAX.

  • I watched a video on YouTube. Nasa had apparently filmed the stars and then they filmed it with infrared light and you could see many objects moving very fast from a position to another position. I will test filming with infrared light and see if i can see any objects moving, thanks for this amazing video!

  • this is jupiter the reason it is extraordinarily brighter is because uranus is behind it also. all the planets are preparing for the alignment in 2012. Now dont take me wrong I am a believer in nibiru. If you wanna see something real cool go to stellarium and search hp67385. now that is something that we need to look more into

  • this is jupiter the reason it is extraordinarily brighter is because uranus is behind it also. all the planets are preparing for the alignment in 2012. Now dont take me wrong I am a believer in nibiru.

  • It seem all the other stars are "twinkling" and the object does not.. hmm?

  • @scott22v It's because the others are stars. The twinkling is due to that their observed radius is so small that the light seems to emerge from a single point. Since we watch it through our turbulent atmosphere, the narrow "beam" is sometimes lit out for fractions of a second. Planets and moons however, are seen as discs (would be clear if higher magnification was used), and even if there is much turbulence, the "beam" is not lit out. When seen from a spacecraft, stars does not twinkle.

  • ive noticed this too

  • no jupiter brighter = nearer to sun, at most oft all, nearer to earth since many decades

  • It is: because Jupiter is closest to the earth since very long. Its distance right now was in August 2010 only 3.9AU, which is approx 600Mio km.

It is in one line with Sun-Earth-Jupiter, thus it is VERY BRIGHT for us.

The Jupiter will be visible until around late December 2012, but not this bright anymore.

  • om the moving little thing is not moving.DIDENT ENY BODY KNOW THAT THE FUKING EARTH MOVES SLOWLEY

  • @skye371 Yeah that's true man, but i'd expect to see the rest of the stars/planets moving aswell, wouldn't you?

  • wow awsome catch! 5 stars and favorite!

  • never mind.

  • it could be the moon galieo had seen in the night sky. besides... ganymede is the biggest moon of all and it's supposed to. it's probably orbiting around the planet

  • were are the moons ?

    warm regards

  • well i have pics of this white mass, (you call jupiter) zig zagging all around... it left trails in the pictures i took of it..... quite bizarre

  • hi guys...this is not the end but the beginning of the LIGHT ERA from 2012, this is a STAR and its coming to change all Solar Sistem, this Satr talk to me in my mind since 2003 and I've told all media in the world about it but no one wanted believed me, now its coming and we can see by our own eyes, be prepared for huge changes in our Planet people !!!!! mauinfanti@yahoo.co.uk

  • @IamIwasIwillbe I think it is easy to identify which is Venus and which is Jupiter. Jupiter is the brightest star rising together with the Moon. I am quite new in these

  • Near the end of te video it looked like the smaller object had a tail.

  • Amazing video, concrete evidence of movement. What it is, is still questionable. Thanks for sharing.

  • that thing sure is moving, you sure it aint a comet or astroid or something?

  • @sweetheart4890 it is something

  • Something hit Jupiter this week. Made a Earth sized hole.

  • iTS ONE OF JUPITERS MOONS! YES YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE IT MOVING, RECORD LONG ENOUGH YOU'LL SEE IT STOP AND MOVE BACK.

  • @FatPumPumLovah cmon man, this cannot be a moon. I dont say its Nibiru but it cannot be a moon

  • this looks like jupiter moving in its normal path...notice the star in the back is fixed...but i do notice that jupiter is brighter..

  • Have you tried contacting someone in authority to view your vid? Good work

  • @jayteean I have watched it. The video shows something perfectly normal, Jupiter and three of its moons, see my comments further up.

  • hey i noticed the same thing this summer but after using my friends phone (evo) with an app that identifys the stars it showed an alinement of jupiter and uranus and that may be the source of it appearing brighter and bigger. this was earlier today at around 10 o'clock at night. just thought i would point this out.

  • when are you guys going to get with the programme, that is not Jupiter

it is way too bright and close , Jupiter is never that bright and is not in that position

look @ the chart on my channel, it clearly shows where Jupiter and the brown dwarf star are as well as the Sun and Earth

  • @highwic Jupiter is very bright these days, because it is at the closest point with Earth. I see it every day rising together with the Moon

  • From what I can tell in NYC Jupiter is about twice the brightness of Venus. Pretty scary and I've been looking at the planets since I was a kid and have never seen Jupiter that bright either.

  • could that be UFO?

  • notice how all the stars are shimmering/twinkling except the moving object, and its big too.

  • Interesting but one problem. If that object is that far behind Jupiter then how would we see the intensified lighting effect from it? It would make Jupiter brighter on it's opposite side. Not on it's facing Earth side. Another question. Are you moving the telescope in a simultaneous movement with this object? When holding a click on the video scroll bar it appears as the frame is moving directly with the object. If an object moves this slowly how can it be tracked manually exactly as it moves?

  • That looks like one of jupiter`s moons moving across,i noticed someone else has commented that they too saw this on a different night so could it be just of the moons going round and round?

  • Can we not determine the speed and its trajectory direction? Where would it be now this object?

  • Venus is the "New Earth of the future. idkn about Jupiter, but hey U have to wonder if the government is covering up or lying to us -- er rather, telling bthe truth? -- about anything. :o|

  • Compelling footage jcattera. The object is quite distinctive. Also noticed a fast-trajectory "meteor" @ 5:07 minutes into the clip. Parallax could show the primary object to be a meteor. also, but, ****. What a meteor !

  • nice video :) best luck in your future captures :)

  • OMG i saw something like that the other day

a big bright ball in the sky then something just move from it

.... maybe not the same thing it was moving a bit faster than this so i assumed it was a satellite

  • It could actually be two gps satelittes. They have fixed positions over earth, and will be looking like moving scross the sky. It make sense rotation of the wold-wise.. Sky moving right. Just a guess.....

    Very good capture anyways

  • Comment removed

  • Great capture. My biggest interests have always been the moon, Mars, & Phobos. Bob Dean had some cool picts re 200 mi long ufo in Saturn's rings & Hoagland does too. I first tht your vid was starfield moving-nope...Saturn moon-nope...satellite-nope, not ours anyways. Jumped vid back & forth & back again. I don't think it's a hoax. Is it's trajectory a straight line? I can't tell without marking on my monitor or taping a straight-edge to it. A great capture. My eyes opened a bit wider now. Thanks

  • @Cloudy2Clear

    *Correction of my previous comment*

Watch 4 pt vid by youtuber samueldrdr - NASA LOST PICTURES: BOB DEAN 2009 EXOPOLITICS PRESS CONFERENCE, BARCELONA.

Entire vid great (orig project camelot 2 hrs - this ripped shows all the amazing picts) - pt 3 of 4 at 2:03 shows Saturn's ring being eaten (mined?) by 2,000 mile long, 400 mile diameter craft!

If you've not seen this, please take time to do so. Pt 2 & pt 3 have amazing NASA censored picts. Thanks for your patience w/me.

  • amazing! definitely a UFO!

  • The object is moving on the same plane of the planetary ecliptic as Jupiter. Jupiter is in orbit around the sun, therefore will itself appear to move slowly against the back ground star field. Most probably a native solar system fast orbiting asteroid or comet.....OR an incoming starship heading towards the inner solar system (Earth) in deceleration phase with engines facing us, hence the high heat signature from the anti-matter engine exhausts.....quick buy a gun and hoard food... :p MEH...

  • I live in the northern hemisphere and I beleive, and I maybe wrong, that planet X can only be viewed in the southern hemisphere. Also - is it possible to calculate the speed of this object as it leaves Jupiter? There are so many things happening in our world right now and they are all not coincidence. Keep the posts coming jcattera..we all know you talk common sense to the masses :O)

  • id say it was one of Jupiter's moons, until it got so far away.

  • /watch?v=NsrZVJH9CdY

  • yea i see this star all the time

  • @jcattera.it look like its moving away from jupiter at a fast pace, but remember jupiter has alot of moons and maybe it could be one of them. ???/.who knows.but if its real im ready for whatever comes my way. plus i love all yur vids dude. one love

  • Probably nothing to do with this this but i noticed the book was strangely bright last light up most of my room at about 01:00

  • If you slide the "timelineknob" back and forth (video hi-speed and then backwards) , you will notice another light going EXACT the same way, only slower....

    Lower left corner of picture..

    Do anyone see it?

  • @rasfare

i see it but that one object does move, if you see it carefully first u will see it move. i did the same thing u did.

  • @rasfare yes i see it

  • If you slide the "timelineknob" back and forth (video hi-speed and then backwards) , you will notice another light going EXACT the same way, only slower....

    Do anyone see it?

  • I have been noticing how bright Jupiter is lately, in fact, typing "why is jupiter so bright lately" into google is how I found your vid.

I have taken pics on my mobile phone camera where Jupiter comes out looking quite clear and large, though still not large enough to make out the Gallilean moons. Maybe if I had a tripod to work with...

  • I noticed a very bright planet from my window which started quite suddendy. Seemed strange and looked just like you clip

lol after watching this know its not just me =)

    Thanks for uploading

  • It could be just a satellite in Earth's orbit.

  • that thing is hauling ass!! it cant be a comet, no possible way at all its an enourmous satellite, and it cant be a ufo....wait...what am i talking about, it IS a UFO. i really think it is a mothership of some sort flying at at their lightspeed capabilities. GREAT video. props to you jcatt for such credible footage. this vid really puts ALL of the shakey footage and suspicious ufo videos to shame. nasa and the government really are hiding the facts from the US citizens.

  • please keep tracking it,you're the best source out there

  • wow...that object was moving away from jupiter really fast!! o you have any idea what it was?

  • jcattera? broda your name sounds like a bad ass sports car. You sir and very few others have this amazing gift of capture. You are genuine and your videos and what you see and many do not are amazing. I am old school and was priveliged to have a science teacher in high school who loved astronomy and part of passing his class was looking in a telescope (on Guam with the most amazing view of the south pacific skies) i passed his class with a A+ and you probably would have to. Thank you jcattera.

  • @bluarcher69 - Thank you my friend! I'm glad we can connect and share our experiences together. I would love to see more people share videos of our skies so we can wake more people up and show them what's really out there.

  • @jcattera uhh are you sure its jupiter how are we suposse to see it its so far? O_o can we really see every planet from earth?

  • @jcattera i seen the same thing b4 it was moving really slow i was like wtf is that i was like is that normal .. iam 25 i only seen it one time out of my life ..

  • @SkyIGR100 why are you spamed??

  • wow!!

  • i do not know a lot about where the planets are in the sky but i have noticed a certain star getting real brighter over the past few months. could someone please confirm my account?

  • It is due to planet x yes. Nibiru is approaching from the south and is onlyi visable from the south pole. Planet X entered our solar system in 2003.

  • Great, great video Jcattera, it's a reward for your continued efforts to find the truth. Regarding the fast moving object I don't believe it's an asteroid due to the IR brightness, which indicate some internal heat. I'd say it's a mothership but it's just a guess as we can't see details and it's not possible to determine its distance. Some researcher have filmed UFO's that only show up in IR but it's difficult to say it for sure in this case. Thanks again, great video!:-)

  • @angelpbj - Thank you!

  • @jcattera -- Start looking at ecliptic plane area RA18, -3 Declination. About 1:30 am your time zone. A firm guess right now.

  • i saw this last night at around 2 -2:30 am, it was so bright that I couldn't see any other stars around it and it seemed to be giving off rays of light

  • I agree, Jupiter is extremely bright, and much larger than usual. As is Venus. WE tracked an unusual planet / ufo?? in gold coast, it arrived in view within 15 minutes, and was so bright, it gave off a very bright illumination across the sea, ( we were staying on the 11 floor of a beach front apartment) Do planets usually give off a reflection across the water? ( I didn't think so) It was so large, we at first thought it was a plane coming in to land, but no...

  • jcattera, check out these coordinates on Microsoft World Wide Telescope. Zoom in. Is that what you were looking at with your telescope?

    06 08 55, 22 47 21

  • subscribed!

  • Nice video man. If only you had the IR camera going at the time the HD one was going at. Then we would know if it's something that just passed by the planet from our view point, of if it actually was in contact with it and left off. It does look like it's going in a straight line. And if so, it just passed the planet as the planets coordinates would not fit on the line. (Forward through the video slowly to speed things up, you get a better sense of it's direction.)

  • It could have been a geosynchronous satellite. It would have appeared to move as the background objects moved in relation to the Earths spin.

I try to debunk before I label something an unknown.

  • @SkyIGR100 - Thanks for watching! I'm also convinced that is a UFO leaving Jupiter.

  • iv notcied a star in the sky thats alot brighter then rest but dont know if its the north start or the planet x

  • I have never seen Jupiter and Venus so bright. Thanks for sharing, you do an excellent work.

  • no shit i went outside to have a ciggy an was just gazing at the stars when i saw this bright blue beam shoot across the sky. ive seen shootin stars even satelites pass through the sky before an it was nothing like that was strange oh an i also noticed to big shinning stars or whatever they are instead of just the 1 thats usuall up in the sky

  • its getting bigger 'cause its getting closer... maybe it's jupiter thats gonna collide with earth

  • at night there is a very bright light similar to this one. I thought it was just venus. i'm in Singapore by the way. one night it was close to where the moon was

  • maybe jupiter will collide with Earth? is jupiter the nibiru?

  • this star is astoundingly beautiful and bright - i take my children outside every night to see it (perth western australia) - to me it feels like a sign of divine proportions.

  • Look at the effect it is having on the near side. That object is somehow reversing the magnetic/gravitational pull and using it as a propulsion system. It is hauling arse!

  • Are you sure that jupiter? jupiter has 3 visible moons' ive seen those stars movin through a teliscope to or whatever they are' well if u study a bit of egyiptology the evidience is pretty clear we are bacteria highly complex' within a natural earth based body earth trees mushrooms growths are bodys are earth' are thought is somthing else to do with those in the heavens.

  • @gunitfor That is Jupiter. Jupiter is in Pisces, the 2 groupings of double stars to the upper left are a recognizable group in Pisces. The close moons are washed out due to the night vision heat imprint making Jupiter appear much larger than it really is.

  • Jupiter is going to an opposition (exact by the end of september). That means that the Earth is between the Sun and Jujpiter. Jupiter it is nearer and the illuminated face is towards us (like a full moon).

  • But if you know what an opposition is and you mean that Jupiter seems brither even for an opposition then I don't know what is happening. Maybe the atmosphere in your area is cleaner, or you moved to a more remote place, I don't know.

  • Dude that`s messed up. I am seeing stars around Venus in the I.R. . They change positions everynight, and somenight they just are not there at all. Have not seen the slow moving ones, but if this is close to jupiter holy crap it is hauling arse. Have you seen the Sun Spheres vids yet Jcatt. This could be one of em. They have been hiding in the corona. Search "spheres, sun, corona".

  • @you00t - Thanks! Yes, I've seen those spheres around the Sun too! They move around and disappear a lot. Maybe that was one of them?

  • @cometodoyourwill no this is not in earths obit....this is out beyond jupiter

  • Have the astronomy program that shows any and all objects, natural and man made that would pass by Jupiter at that time and date... nothing except Iridium 12 satellite at 12:04AM. Whatever it is it's a big mystery. Good video.

If you don't mind me asking, what video capture program do you use?

  • And I also accounted for the time difference between our locations

  • @Znobyrd - Hi there, for the IR camera video capture - I use "Grabee Software". That is what the video capture USB device recommends for it.

  • Great video.

  • wow.....the moving object is absolutely wild! keep posting!

  • Great capture and point taken. Thanks again

  • looks like a sattelite

  • great vid as always J keep the updates coming! :)

  • @scousergaz84 - Thank you.

  • wat sort of orbit is tat ? it is moving diagonally..

  • I think it's a satellite. Yes Jupiter is looking very bright.

  • This is an excellent video, thank you for posting.

Seeing how close you where filming to the horizon, my guess is that you captured the triple planetary alignment happening this weekend in Libra. Where you facing West?

The three planets are Mars, Venus and Saturn.

    Best regards

  • Thanks for posting! Great video!

  • I've been watching Jupiter for years... the last three summers, I ask others if it doesn't look brighter.. finally, this year, people are agreeing with me.. just to look at it with naked eyes, you can see that it's getting closer and brighter. As for the planet moving away... makes me feel like we're in the "Truman Show". If that makes sense ~*~

  • The object moving away. We can only speculate, though certainly appears to be technological as opposed to a natural occurrence.

  • @possetraxx Pluto is actually one of the slowest moving objects.

  • very good video we need more of these

  • That thing is covering a LOT of distance in a short amount of time! Comet??

  • How can this object move away from jupiters gravity field ?

  • At 03:53 is a high-speed object filmed. At 05:07 one more. Meteors probably. About strange object moving away from Jupiter: 1) speed is too slow - it's not satellite 100%; 2) it's not plane, missile, any meteorological probe etc. => unidentified flying object!

Thanks for the vid! That's great!

  • Quick very very rough calculation if the object were the same distance as Jupiter.

Jupiter diameter 143,000km. The object moves about 1.5 diameters in a minute 214,500km multplied by 60 (mins) =12,8700,000km per hour or 7,997,000 miles an hour, impressive.

If it's closer to earth it's slower if it's further away it's quicker!!!

  • I saw Jupiter yesterday and damn was it bright!

  • ufo maybe?x

  • that distance in 5minutes is NOT slow <,<

  • Nice shot... I wonder what that was.

  • I think I saw it not to long ago as I was taking a nice night walk back home. It was the only thing up in the sky as usual. Thanks for sharing! & i do believe it is getting closer with all these activities been happening lately.

  • @AoEnigMoonxPhase - Thanks for watching! Jupiter is so bright just like Venus! I've never seen them both this lit up. ;)

  • @jcattera Your Meade telescope do have tracking capability? There is no way you can identify this object using that capability? That would probably confirm if the object is known or not....

  • @jambi99 - I didn't use the Meade telescope. It takes too long to set up. I used my Canon HD camcorder and my Yukon IR camera since I didn't have a lot of time.

  • @jcattera -- What ever the object was, its speed was between 5,000 -- 6,000 miles/sec. It wasn't in a big hurry. On the subject of planet luminosity, this depends on opposition to the sun. The more direct opposition; the brighter they appear. Jupiter will increase in luminosity through September.

  • @jambi99 - I just used Stellarium to confirm. It's quick and easy since it pointed Jupiter out in the Eastern part of the sky.

  • @jcattera Yeah i'm also using Stellarium. Thats a great software. I can't believe that tool still free.

Great work and thanks for the reply!

  • @jambi99 Thanks for the headsup on the stellarium software.

  • @jcattera Great catch. These people who always claim "satellite" , unless a satellite was a sphere, wouldn't it just twinkle for a second in the sunlight? It just doesn't make sense that a satellite would glow like what we all see at night on occasion. How big would a satellite have to be to shine like a star ALL the way across the night sky? Probably huge. We should keep an eye on this closely for I know nasa wouldn't say a word, most of the people cannot handle an emergency, which really sucks
