Quelle che chiami "note folli" sono "Sovracuti" suonati in modo da farli squillare per bene. Nella musica classica per sax (quelle 4 cose che hanno scritto ^^) si usano molto spesso ma si notano meno perchè sono eseguite molto meglio e sembrano normali note da estensione. Il jazz vuole ricreare un po' la tensione del solo, quindi marca molto queste note così alte. Spero di essere stato chiaro ;D

sounds great. sounds like there is no real structure but they are playing rather free though it sounds very harmonious.

intonation could be better if im not mistaken.

well, blame it on my condition: I might have been wrong about the structure after my first listening. thought they werent following any chords when soloing. and the intonation just sounded unintentionally off at times but come to think of it... its great i think... :>

What the hell are you talking about. His intonation is pretty much perfect. And he doesn't sound anything like Kenny Garrett. If you hear an actual recording, his tone is absolutely stunning.

I interviewed stefano for a newspaper in Italy. He uses a mark VI alto of the 1960ies, a meyer 6 medium chamber, and 2.5 or 3 reeds, I forget the make. No fashionable ligature, just a plain one - he added.
