Quebec company was reinstated to 3rd Battalion in April of 2008 in order to meet the increased recruiting needs of the Marine Corps. It had not been active since the Vietnam War.

Quebec company is such a garbage company. Congrats on them making it but they suck at everything: Drill, Rifle Range, Discipline, and all aspects of recruit training. I remember watching them when I was there and they are worse than Hotel Company. I am part of 3rd BN and we do not claim them.

I can't attest to what you are saying but I do know that 3050 was the first to have everyone make it through the rifle range in 4 years. That's Table 1 and Table 2. Pretty good if you ask me.

That doesnt mean anything. And I've seen a lot of platoons have everyone pass the rifle range. Having 1 recruit unq is big deal. So that 4 years thing isnt true. You can unq and then qual on the next week. Besides everyone can pass, but if they all pass with marksmen its not good. I'm not saying thats all they got, but most people I knew from Quebec company got the pizza box. It's not their fault entirely though, they are being taught by DI's from different battalions each with their own ways

Are you a Drill Instructor? Otherwise, how have you "seen a lot of platoons?" 3050 had everyone qualify on both ranges the FIRST time with no drops. Here is a direct quote from their Senior DI...

"however the platoon took no UNQS (unqualified recruits). Let me stress the fact that this has not been done in a little over 4 years. 3050 is the first platoon to "GO CLEAN" (meaning everyone qualified...)"

Not only that, most in Quebec DID NOT get pizza boxes. I was there. I have the graduation pictures to prove it. Most fell in the sharpshooter range with a smaller percentage as marksman and expert. That falls well within the scientific bell curve. How does that indicate that they are a "garbage company?" When you look at the facts, Quebec company did pretty well.

Marines like saying they are better then one another. We don't bad mouth cause we hate each other...its like a cocky thing we want to be the best at whatever we do. so its not common to hear people to say these things. In the end if someone is having trouble in anything, yeah we will joke with them, but we will help each other right after. Oohrah.
