Great channel,just discovered it.I'm 65 going on 16 and trying to learn this fingerpicking style.Will have few excuses now,apart from troutfishing,and also learning harmonica,keyboards,bagpipes,tin whistle,and gardening,and chasing wimmun.This sort of thing justifies the existence of the internet.Thank you and best wishes.Greetings from Perthshire,Scotland. Here goes: in 1st variation, I play an "internal" C, i.e. the barred C on 8th fret without the barre, plus a harmonic on the 12th. The next C is again internal on the 5th fret - just the 1st, 2nd & 4th strings. Then a run down on 1st & 3rd strings for the F. If I can work up the tab, I'll mail you!
