@ArtisticPieLOL Copic usually will smudge sharpies and the likes. You can find other multiliners that aren't copic and wont smudge with copic markers. Ask your bookstore for a drawing pen.

AAACK I wish I would have watched this before I bought some skin tone markers, I bought a barley beige as the base (I know VERY naaive haha) but basically where I live there wasn't much of an option.

i prefer warm and neutral then cool. if im using shadow i would use Cool Shadow . Its a green blue but i dont remeber wht the code is

I think hand sanitizer will work, or rubbing alcohol, actually I use Windex to clean up my alcohol inks off my mat

Hello, I just received the original 72 copic marker B set - I already have the A set. I was very surprised to find that the back two rows - 32 markers - are all shades of gay and black with lots of them name "toner" - I have no idea how to use these and have no idea why they would put 32 plus gray/black markers in one set. Can you help me learn how to use them?

Really nice explanation of these markers. I'm no expert, but I must agree with your color choices--dark bark is amazing, olive and the cadmiums too. The one thing I would say, though, is definitely get the dark red. For me, the cadmium red feels a little tomatoey at times and the dark red counters it perfectly.

ty I just started to buy the copic ciao markers & was stuck to where to start so this is a big help. But wish i seen this b4 i bought 4 last wk & 4 today ..lol oh well never mind I intended to buy few every wk so I will just follow list now till I have them & move on to other colours. i would be intrested in other tutorials on copics as i only discoved them few wks back & seen that many scrapbookers & card makers use them on videos. thank fully i had not tried them with my stazon  ty for tip

@angelic808 Copic Sets are the way to go if you know you will eventually get them all anyway. However, if you are just testing to see if you like the markers, just buy 2 or 3 to play with, and then go for the sets if you end up liking them. Sets will save you TONS of mula in the long run. I started out with a 36 color Copic Sketch set. I played with those for six months and ending up collecting what I have now. Individual purchase is not a bad thing either. Just depends what your budget is.
