It's really sad to watch this knowing that it was during this tour is when he had larengitis (sp?) and brochitis and discontinued the rest of the tour...also to know that it was a couple of weeks after this when he attempted the 1st suicide!!

@SunShine1732 he didn't attempt suicide in Rome, Courtney drugged him with Rophonyl and tried to kill him, she waited 2 HOURS!!! after she found him unconsious to call authorities, probably under the assumption he was already dead..when he woke up, the first thing he wrote to Courtney in the hospital was FUCK YOU because he knew what she tried to do, but because of the roofies couldn't put the pieces together in his memory...this was a man who was CLEAN for a yr and HAPPY with his life

@misterdirtdog I heard something similar to what you mentioned about Courtney, but also heard about it being a suicide attempt as well. That's really f**cked up if Courtney did that to him! She's a hateful B**CH If she did.

I'm not sure about the thing about him being clean for a year because he was in rehab before his death. He escaped rehab, flew back to Seattle, and was buying Herion! Whatever the case it's really sad and we lost a great artist! He was AWESOME & Nivana was a AWESOME band!

@SunShine1732 Courtney said it was a suicide attempt after Kurt passed away, before he died he confirmed that it wasn't a suicide attempt and the doctor that treated him also said it didn't appear as though he was trying to kill himself, his plan was apparently to take their money and split on Courtney, but I mean at the end of the day the only ones that probably really know are Courtney and Cali - if it's ok I can send you a PDF i recently found on the events around his death, it's a good read

but this concert - this song -would be nicer - much nicer, if the audience wouldnt sang with Kurt - i would wanted to hear Kurt & not the audience. its my opinion.

I remember one interview where Kurt talked about this exchange of energy between the band and the audience, this positive feedback loop. I'll bet the audience's enthusiasm made him very happy. :)

@T3hL337Sesshy I dont know, according to "his" letter, when hes backstage and the lights go out the manic roar of the crowd doesnt do it for him, like how it did Freddie Mercury who seemed to love, relish in the love and adoration from the crowd which is something I totally admire and envy.

So maybe he admires and envies the way freddie got off on it, made him feel great, but it didnt do it for kurt.

Who knows though, I still think he was murdered and the note is inadmissable to his death.
