  • The Reunion Concert version of "The Price of Love" was included on all early audio releases of the concert (I have it on LP, cassette, and CD). I wish it was included on the video releases. "Blues Stay Away from Me" is included on the full-length concert cassette too.

  • Once again - SO happy to see this clip posted on youtube. Thank you, Derek!

  • WOW...LETZ STAY DEVOTED..

    ERIK TIELMAN, FLORIDADADAA

  • this is a beautiful soul searching song. Oh how I wish they would release a karaoke version of it. I do karaoke to a lot of the everly songs, and just love them all.

  • Albert!

  • Downright fantastic. Gotta love the blues when they are slow and mournful the way they should be.

  • Incomparable Everly harmonies. Love this. Thanks for posting!

  • My favorite song when I feel like crap! :)

  • The guitars' sounds bring chill onto my bones ! Such beautiful song ! Great vocalists (Long live The Everlys !) and great guitarists ( Long live The Albert Lee and The Everlys again ! LOL !)

  • Don and Phil could sing anything, and make it sound so good and interesting to listen to. They are so intuned to each other, harmony is great. Thank you for posting.

  • No one can harmonize like siblings, and no one can do it better than these 2!Just fantastic! Thanks!

  • amazing

  • What CD is "Blues Stay Away From Me" on?

    I can't find it.

  • A version of it is on "A Prairie Home Companion Duets" (Audio CD), but credit goes to AGibsonJ for knowing this and telling me. Unfortunately, the producers left this stirring song and too many other Everly songs off of the Reunion Concert DVD.

  • It is on the "A Night at the Royal Albert Hall" Boxed CD. The CD opens with "Price of love" and ends with "Good Golly Miss Molly". The sub title is: "The Complete Reunion Show'. (Stardust Records - Courtesy of San Juan Music Group). Hope this helps. Why in the world Stephanie Bennett (from Delilah) doesn't put out the complete Concert VIDEO for us diehards, I will never understand. *Are you LISTENING, Stephanie???

  • Right you are, walkwag! You tell them.

  • I agree, and I'd even bet that this particular recording is missing a few more solos by the instrumentalists, a la "Baby What You Want Me To Do" from the other night.

  • You can get it on A Prarie Home Companion - Duets. Great music!!!

  • This isn't on my reunion DVD either; the last song on the cassette version is "Good Golly Miss Molly" and on the DVD it's "Let It Be Me". Does anyone know what DVD it's on? Certainly is beautiful.

  • This track has never been released on DVD or VHS, this recording is taken from a TV programme about music from the US that aired in the UK in the late 80s.

  • @derek868 Sat 18th Feb 1989 to be precise this was aired.

  • @derek868 : Greatly appreciate your posting of this!

  • @derek868

what about the price of love?I heard that the Everly have sung it too.

  • @poussyledzep The Reunion version of Price of Love is just about as hard-to-find as this clip.

  • Does anyone know why this and "Down in the Willow Garden" were left off the EB Runion Concert DVD? Why?

  • Wow, they nailed this one! They're great on hard rock too ...seems like they can handle anything!

  • Reminds me of "Trouble in Mind" - they're underrated as blues singers. Anyone got this with Albert on mandolin?

  • i have a show from manchester, broacast by the BBc in 97 on cd. of the Ev's doing this in a medley with albert on mandolin. i knock you up a copy no prob.

  • the greatest harmony singers of all time

  • This is another classic...one of their best...I had never seent his video before...THANKS!

    RW

  • Cant argue with that. These guys should still be recording like McCartney & Brian Wilson

  • What a great find! Thank you so much. I wonder if there's an unedited version out there?

  • I meant ALBERT LEE

  • Oh boy this is one of the best songs the everlys perform, I was at the second night, I can't remember if they did this one or not, it was 23 years ago, must credit Alert Lee on guitar and Pete Wingfield piano, they are all just as good today.

  • Albert Lee is so good, I think he may be from another planet~! He and Brent Mason~!

  • On one of the nights of the reunion they sang the wrong song after the intro and instead sang Baby what you want me to do!!

  • you could listen to them for ever
