I like Opera, but until it gets Plugins a la Firefox, im sticking with the latter, i refuse to surf "teh internets" without Adblock EH, Noscript, Refcontrol and Prefbar, anyhow Opera still is a good browser and easily a superior choice to IE and go0gles prying browser :)

I have been a FF user for years, but lately FF is running extreamly slow and lagging for some reason. I switched to Opera, and it's noticibally faster. Even though it uses widgets, I still can live with it, I do miss FF's addons. My FF is 3.011, the last version before 3.5, I can't use 3.5 because it won't work with 99% of my extensions. So, Opera it is, it's a great browser.

I must say that I becamse very impressed with it in a short length of time .. and I now prefer this over Firefox and IE.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Chrome is a little faster than Opera. Why? Because Chrome basically has no options and can maybe do 25% of what Opera can do.

And then you get people comparing Firefox with like five extensions. Put 150 extensions in FF like Opera has built-in and then see how clunky FF becomes.

It honestly boggles my mind why Opera isn't the most popular browser. Because, overall, it certainly is the best one.

I've been an Opera user since 1999, after I dumped Netscape, and I couldn't be more pleased. Both the Windows and Linux variants work amazingly well, something not so common for multi-platform applications. I can't imagine myself surfing the internet with any other browser than Opera, it is fast, reliable and it has everything. Other than a minor inconvenience with deviantart js menus (acknowledged and scheduled to be fixed), the performance of 9.5 is 100% flawless. I love it :D

I used to have problems with the last veriosn of opera,for instance it would always crash while checking my gmail inbox, sometimes even yahoo. Also the last version had some problems with the flash and jawa applications, it also crashed quite often.

The new version is quite impressive. It is fast indeed. I've been using opera for a long time and I really like at as browser. MFF ain't bad too, but it used to crash very often. IE just sucks ass.
