If there are two sources for gamma rays, constantly emitting them, then no matter where we are in relation to these two sources, we're going to get hit with them all the time. My question about this is: If it is a superwave emanating from the galactic center, it would travel at the speed of light. I'm estimating here, but isn't the galactic center thousands of light years away? Hence, if there is a galactic superwave, it would have had to have pulsed thousands, if not tens of thousands of years ago. As an astronomy student, I can tell: The Earth could've been wiped out of existence at any time, and because of 100000000 different possible reasons. Zerosum, I have a question for you. How are all of us supposed to be forwarned of galactic activity going on when this Potus has cut the Hubble's feed to the public? They are going to make sure they know when the worst is going to hit, but they're not letting the rest of us know....why, because of mass unrest? @olivertwist565 from the time we could see the solar flare from the earth, we would have about 2 days warning before the particles hit. of course, fastest impact i've heard of was 30 minutes so that's 22 minutes for that distance slower than the speed of light. very rare. on average 18-48 hours. which is about how long it would take hubble to transfer the data also if i'm not mistaken

Myths were created by telling stories about the stars. People saw in the stars what was significant to them and created Mythical figures to point out these things in the sky.

Earth's plates do show constant movement with irregulations on small scales.

I'm still not convinced that there will be any more gamma rays. If there are two sources for gamma rays, constantly emitting them, then no matter where we are in relation to these two sources, we're going to get hit with them all the time. I'm not seeing how being in a line relative to the two would increase it, same with an alignment.

Yeah, it only touched momentarily on that, I was a bit confused myself. There was a jump form the aleignment to gamma rays. I think he beieves there could be a superburst during the aliegnment, or maybe the aleignment puts us in exposure to past burst? My question about this is: If it is a superwave emanating from the galactic center, it would travel at the speed of light. I'm estimating here, but isn't the galactic center thousands of light years away? Hence, if there is a galactic superwave, it would have had to have pulsed thousands, if not tens of thousands of years ago. This burst would have to come from much closer, unless we are about to travel through a continuous wave which comes from the center. Could someone clarify?

Hopefully in Oregon deep in a bunker :P...I wouldn't count on 2012 being the end of your life. No one knows exactly what will happen, you can only speculate with the limited information (ancient codex/prophecy - new data/science). If the sun does spazz it will still have to hit us. Also going through the dark rift may in fact change our DNA (which would explain all the missing link's). No worries. Peace...
