This is a glitch. When the chuckya get's wet it become lighter, MrRobertz then used it to grind into the cage. Then, because objects (apart from Mario) aren't 'supposed' to go between the two worlds the glitch is exposed, allowing a series of objects to appear, search for chuckya glitches, someone can explain how it all works...

Just so you know, its possible to get the secret star on the slide right after the dive. once the star appears you press A almost right after, and you can still touch the star, it would be a bit faster, maybe a few seconds.

We (SM64 TASers) easily could, but the reason this wasn't published wasn't because it was suboptimal (although it was very suboptimal by Robert's standards today), but because the category was arbitrary. The site only allows fastest any% completion (0 star) and fastest 100% completion (120 star).
