GE paid no taxes last year despite records profits. They even claimed a tax credit - as they continue to ship jobs out of the country. GE was one of Obama's largest corporate campaign donors. Obama continued the transfer of wealth upwards (aka bailouts) started by Bush. Obama's economic advisers are the Wall St people who started this mess.

If civil war does come, it will be mainly civilian vs civilian, not us army vs civilian. Us army will split, as seen in the previous civil war. Actually, most great generals and trained soldiers joined the south, but were overwhelmed by the northern industry and power. Rebels will have to win quick to stand a chance.

Yes there is always a possibility that such a armed conflict would become necessary. For example if one side becomes powerful enough to imposes its will upon the other without their consent, then the other would have no choice but to uses force to protect themselves against tyranny. Bill Clinton fixed this debt and gave the US its largest surplus in history, while George Bush came in, wasted the surplus on two ridiculous wars, and plundered the US into debt.

Canada would probably be drawn in. Neutrality is hard to maintain when you border and have extensive economic ties with both sides. GE paid no taxes last year despite records profits. They even claimed a tax credit - as they continue to ship jobs out of the country. GE was one of Obama's largest corporate campaign donors. Obama continued the transfer of wealth upwards (aka bailouts) started by Bush. Obama's economic advisers are the Wall St people who started this mess.

If civil war does come, it will be mainly civilian vs civilian, not us army vs civilian. Us army will split, as seen in the previous civil war. Actually, most great generals and trained soldiers joined the south, but were overwhelmed by the northern industry and power. Rebels will have to win quick to stand a chance.

Yes there is always a possibility that such a armed conflict would become necessary. For example if one side becomes powerful enough to imposes its will upon the other without their consent, then the other would have no choice but to uses force to protect themselves against tyranny. Canada would probably be drawn in. Neutrality is hard to maintain when you border and have extensive economic ties with both sides. Keep the military a volunteer force. Those who quickly advocate a civil war probably have never been in a real fire fight.

Look at the states that are reasserting there 10th constitutional right to states rights. Alot of those voted blue, but they would not be passing such legislature if they were happy now would they? And just as many reds voting states have done the same where as some have not. If your state is not reaserting states rights, then god help you.

Most of the people in those military bases joined the military from red states where the military is not looked down upon. Who do you think they'll be loyal to? San Fransisco politicians in Washington or to their conservative states where their families reside?

That one of the biggest BS myths about the Americans bravely serving in the armed forces that they're all from "red" states. Do some fact checking and you'll see that most servicemen are from "blue" states and urban areas.

I do not agree with the title. For the past few decades the republican party has been more the same as the democratic party. Expansion of government control, fighting useless wars and distortion of free market economics. It has come to its worst now with Bush "Bring them on" foreign policy and Obama socialist economic planning.
If Ron Paul is not president by 2012 we must have civil war. It's the only way to bring back the true republic of the people.

I have to question how the "red" forces are for a new world order led by corporations. Last time I checked the republican party was against the bailouts for the big business.
Last time I checked the dems were the ones pushing us away from our more traditional market and systems of government.
If anyone is out for making a new world order, I'd say it would be the dems, not the republicans.

You have to follow the money for the last 30 years. The GOP is funded by the Weapons Industry, BIG OIL/Power, Big Finance, Pharma & Private Health Insurance and is all currently subsidized by our tax dollars while posting record profits and pushing the losses on the tax payer. This is already a form of socialism not free market economics that they preach. I do not say the Dems are perfect BUT they have been more consistent on protecting civil liberties, habeas corpus & the Constitution.

If we go to war be assured that the south will win this time. Over 50% of the U.S. military is from Texas alone and those sons and daughters of Texas will come back to defend their homes and families. Also Alaska will side with the CSA and with Texas those two states hold over 90% of the U.S. domestic oil supply. And do we even need to cover the gun situation? So lets go to war, and at the end we'll see which flag is flying!
