  • good job getting into the 10's after how many years of trying? ya 13's at friggin 112 dude, obviously something was going on with my suspension. you guys are the joke of the 8th gen community. nothing you all do will ever be impressive.

  • @supaninjanick What's the proper amount of time to do something that nobody has ever done before?

It's haters like you on 8th with such slanted immaturity without any facts that convince the rest of the people on 8th that you're haters, not experts.

It's not surprising that reality will never impress you since your mind is made up. Your war wounds really affected you pretty badly.

Hey, where's that comment for DougofHondata? Or are you showing off your prejudice?

  • I would be scared to put that much power through the transmission, how's it holding up?

  • very nice work guys, i look forward to sending my 06 Si to your shop sometime in january 2011. probably not for the 420 kit, im satisfied with going for the 300 hp kit. i have a few questions regarding the process of eventually upgrading to the 420 kit someday. also very curious about what exactly is involved with the 300 hp kit.

  • Thats FW hp not whp that your dyno reads AJP ftl

  • @supaninjanick Please be sure to leave the exact same comment for DougAtHondata, where he states, "Tuning run of Hondata's Acura TSX with CT supercharger and K-Pro Dual making 336 wheel HP and 246 ft-lbs torque."

Just do a search for: Hondata TSX CT Supercharged dyno

to find and comment on the video.

According to you, when refers to "wheel HP", he should have said "Front wheel HP".

And you are smarter than Doug, so make sure you tell him that it's "Hondata ftl".

  • @supaninjanick Just wondering if you visited Dougathondata's video to let him know that he should have said FW hp, instead of the "wheel HP" that he said. Didn't see it there yet, so think of all the people who are being misled, according to you.

Unless you only go for soft targets. Actually, you do, since you didn't say anything about our 10.97 sec quarter mile video, which was already out when you left your comment on a *2-yr old* video.

Videos of 13.87 sec 1/4 miles are the real FTL.

  • me want this

  • honda <333333333333333

  • the built one can handle more power the stock engine can handle power up to a point, in these cars like 400whp built is basically saying forged rods and pistons idk if they forged the crank

  • Love the set up you have. Have been to several others and none can touch the output yall produce

  • Thanks for the kind words. The Hondata reflash is a big part of the power we have that other kits don't.

While other kits have to wait for VTEC to kick in at 5800 rpm, our kit gets VTEC going at 4250 rpm.

  • flashpro came out try that . gaining more HPs ? til the video was recorded?

  • @alajuela04 ajp sure does have a killer set up . but idk i just prefered SRT better.

  • thks for answers

  • from inside the car, these "drive bys" are lame imo

  • Did you watch the drive-by video of this car made over a year ago and shot outside the car?

  • Plus... let's see her on the road tearing it up. Enough dynos (everyone disputes them half the time anyway), lets see the beast in action : )

  • Did you watch the drive-by video of this car made over a year ago?

  • Question for the OP: why advertise that she's a monster?

Sleepers that stomp mudholes in 'badass/way more expensive cars' are cooler.

  • This is our demo car, not a daily driver. Major companies don't sponsor sleepers.

  • Can I Do This On My EX ?

  • We are working on an R18 turbo kit. But no hp numbers or prices yet. Stop by our website for details.

  • Damn, nice. soon as I graduated med school, I'm putting one of these kits on my fg2

  • Thanks - we love to spread the horsepower around.

  • lovin the HFP wheels

  • i have a 09 si sedan how much hp would i gain from this kit

  • You have 4 options:

    1. Stock engine - 376 whp at 8.5 psi

    2. Stock engine with AEM F/IC - 420 whp at 11 psi

    3. Built engine with AEM F/IC - 500 whp at 17 psi

    4. Built engine with sleeved block, AEM F/IC - 700 whp at 25 psi

  • what is the highest HP that can be achieved with one of your kits? and how much would a full out build cost?

  • We have one of our customers up to 650 whp.

Please contact us at sales (at) ajperformance (dot) com to discuss prices and builds. The YouTube messaging system does not handle this kind of communication well. Thanks.

  • Why was it so jerky when shifting gears? Does it have any bogging issues normally associated with the new si's?

  • The driver was not used to this car. He was used to his own car, which he built and races.

If he had several more runs, he would have done much better. For our purposes, which was to test the air/fuel ratio, we got the info we needed.

Ever since we installed the Greddy e-Manage Ultimate, it's been driving very well.

  • ok, if you say so, whatever!

  • who ever is driving the car here fuckingsucks at at!!!

  • He was used to his car, which he built and races, and just learning the shop car. If he had several more runs, he would have done much better. For our purposes, which was to test the air/fuel ratio, we got the info we needed.

  • oh my god that is soooo sick

  • It sounds a lot better now. We were testing the air/fuel ratio back then.

  • honestly how can u possibly hope to put that power down with a ff car...i have a fully stock 02 civic and i have a hard enough time getting my new tires not to spin....thats about 400 hp less then this car.

  • Good tranny, good clutch, good suspension.

  • still.....

  • you'll have to start doing things from a roll, its that K-series power.

  • I run 18 psi on pump 93 gas (444 whp on a dyno dynamics)and get no wheel spin on 2nd gear with 275/35r18 bf drag radials. I have it set to 12 psi on 1st gear to control wheel spin. Ohh and that's with a 5 speed trany and good clutch and good suspension on a RSX-S. So it's not impossible.

  • i owned a lsd civic with about 300-330whp and didnt have a problem with wheel spin. only if i had on my 185 seires i could light them up. but even with decent 205 series and not launch with a spin. i could get traction in second and only slightly spin in top of 2nd goin into third. so i dont understand how a 200hp civic CANT get traction. i think many others will feel the same. sounds like a personal problem

  • wow AJP u guys deliver the best performance from ur kits ive ever seen, im gettin an 08 honda civic si really soon, and ima def get my turbo kit from u guys, and i love the AJP vinyl on that car do u guys do vinyl's to?, cause if u do i would love to get that if possible.

  • Yes we do. Contact us at sales (at) ajperformance (dot) com.

  • if i want to go all motor.... wat parts do you recomend me to install?? and where can i get them... i have an 08 SI and i live down in weston fl....

  • It depends on your budget and how much horsepower you want.

    Give us a call at 954 636 7992.

  • exatcly wat is install in that civic?...i know a big as$ turbo but wat else? cuz im building mine all motor... i have H/CAI/EXH. im looking for more parts but cant find them...

  • You can find our parts list on our website:

    ajperformance (dot) com/turbo

  • Yo is your only shop in FL?

    If so that blows.

i want one and im in cali.

  • Sorry, but there is only one shop and it's in South Fl. However, we've been sending our kits out and if you have a reputable performance shop nearby, it should not be a problem for you to have the kit installed.

  • dude needs to shift a lil better...hes like struggling in second gear..but sweet car

  • Yes, he was not familiar with the car. But he's gotten a lot better since then. We were testing the air/fuel ratio more than raw power, so this wasn't the cleanest dyno pull.

  • cool, im not crackin on him though..im acutally jealous hes even in it !! lol Im just talking here but would you consider giving rides just to see the raw power of this car?

  • We give rides all the time to prospective customers. If you ever stop by the shop, we'll be happy to show you what that much power feels like.

  • oh yeah you know i will. I might scream with joy lol

  • Yesterday, we gave a ride to a customer from Springfield, MA. He took his family to Disney World in Orlando, and took off a day to visit us (we're 3.5 hours south).

After the ride, he said that visiting us and getting the ride was the highlight of his vacation. "Forget Disney World!", he said (out of earshot of his family).

  • this might sound like a stupid question but with that turbo kit can u have that car as a daily driver, if so listen for a call in may 08 if not damn.... well let me not hank you - Drew

  • Yes, check out our website. The purpose of this car is to demonstrate that the kit is powerful enough to scale up with your power demands. But we sell a lower hp version that goes up to 8.5 psi and gives you 376whp.

One of our earliest customers has 30,000 miles on the kit and is doing just fine.

I'll look forward to your call.

  • does it fit the sedan? how much is the 8.5psi kit?

  • Yes, it fits the sedan.

Check out our website at ajperformance(dot)com for details and pricing.

  • It would be something if this was to work with my 93

  • What do you think the odds are of this puppy running against a Vette ZR1 would be? (I'm in faver of the Si hands down, because I personally hate our crappy GM, Ford, Dodge cars)

  • How high do you plan on boosting it?

  • With the big turbo that is installed in it. Check out our blog for entries showing pictures of it and the built motor - ajperformance (dot) com/blog.

  • nice!!! i was wondering the same thing... the car seems to be jumping around alot? not strapped down tight enough?

  • We were playing around with the air/fuel ratio, plus the driver was not familiar with the car.

It's not a daily driver, so it takes some getting used to. The driver races his own car, but it handles very differently from our shop car.

  • I got two questions ... are u using the reflash and what kind of exhaust are u using

  • We are using the Hondata reflash for our turbo kit and our 3" exhaust.

  • whats that hick up? bad tuning

  • Driver inexperience plus we were testing a certain air/fuel ratio at certain gear. This wasn't a pull for total power.

  • A a car back on the road (well dyno anyway) lol

  • It took a while, but now things are rolling along (so to speak). This last run was with pump gas. C16 race fuel is next.
