An audiobook version of The Stand consists of 54 hours, five and a half minutes of audio, including things like the introduction and legal garbage. So that means you pretty much would have to read at more than double the rate of human speech, for a straight 24 hours, without pausing to eat or use the bathroom. You could do those things without putting the book down, but they would hurt your speed.

It took me one month almost exactly to finish listening to the audiobook.
