  • Is it absolutely necessary to apply a sealant after the Stain? or would it come off to easily? and how about if it gets wet? without a proper sealant will the stain just come off?

  • why cant you just sand all of it off? Why do you have to use the chemical first and scrap off the stuff?

  • never sand, unless extremly nessesary, you will lose all patina and beauty of your piece. Just use med grade steelwool to clean up that last bit of residue. Applying a bit of pessure you are fine sanding with the steelwool with will do a nice job and not ruin the peice

  • @RoseMarySproule i disagree, once you touch the wood with anything the patina is gone.Remover is nasty and hard to deal with and dont breath too much of it or youll have a kid with 3 heads.anyway even if you use remover you still end up sanding lots. I sand for the zen of it, thats when the dreams start when im in my sanding mode. I really get into sanding.it becomes like a drug. I love wood
