@KotRIceman27 Yeah I didn't realize when you posted it until after I posted the comment. Oh well, maybe it will help someone else. Sad you had to sell it. I sold my M1008 2 years ago. Now I want an M1009.
I noticed that you don't have a glow plug wait light. Is it just burned out? I have the same thing and it's harder for me to start it in colder weather. Was just wondering if it was burned out or you replaced something to get it working again. Steel soldiers forums couldn't give me any answers lol
@KotRIceman27 Listen for a loud clunk when you turn the key, that's the glow plug relay. If you dont hear the clunk, your relay or glow plug control module might be bad.
But you should just bypass the glow plug control module regardless. They go out all the time. Wire a momentary (push-button) switch to the relay. Just hold the button down for 10-15 seconds before you crank (don't warm them up too long (30+ sec), they can balloon at the tip and get stuck inside the head).
Thanks, I got it sorted out, but had to sell the OD beast. For me only one glow plug was out, and that caused all the problems.
