  • this one and "Angelhood" are the cherries on the cake for me :-)

  • @MarkusAudio Great choices my friend, love the feel and

beat to this one, plus its dark and brooding nature :)

  • i was lapsing into trascendental meditation, as you do, and just

previous to befalling the land of nod i did notice that words suddenly

appear and even music appears toamalgulate to suggest words also.

its highly irregular, i know, but i'm the queen of china if elizabeth

didn't whisper half way through this song the name 'shakespeare'.

nice to hear a bit of class.

  • @pizza4cat79 Hi there, it gives you goosebumps doesnt it this amazing

song, Ive uploaded quite a lot of the BBC Sessions tracks, your right they

are amazing live versions of their classics over the years :)

Lets hope maybe one day they'll get back together my friend :-)

  • they had so many wonderful titles and then i guess they'd used up

all the words, so stopped. the eightees were more flambouyant but

the nineties minimalistic and i notice the cocteaus edging towards

more of the oneword titles too. sounds like i did the same as elizabeth-

i didn't listen to a cocteau song for 11years after they finished and no

other music either. i guess it was a type of state mourning...for the

    tinderbox of a heart.

  • @posypity Your right about all those amazing song titles,

I always tried to copy their surreal titles in my own songs.

Of course mine never worked lol, Liz has a truly original

imagination and talent for the unique, just like her voice.

Im glad you came out of your state of mourning my friend,

Their music must be heard, it has almost healing powers :)

  • Nice work! I'm curious - where does the video clip of the woman with a suitcase falling off a cliff come from? It looks familiar but I can't place it.

  • @pinkorangered88 Hi there my friend, glad you enjoyed my video, been trying to think

which DVD I used for that clip you mentioned? not sure but it may have the newer version

of the Exorcist released a few years ago, I will try to find out my friend, thanks for your

comments, good to hear from you. :)

  • Very cool. One of their best songs.

  • @jostd48 Glad you enjoyed it jostd48,its an amazing track your so right my friend....!!!

  • Lately, this song has been keeping me from hanging myself. I listen to this over and over again. It's like being trapped in a dark dream that never turns into a nightmare. Like being stuck in The Legand of Sleepy Hollow- being a witness to a black horse looking for the headless horseman, but the horseman never appears. But ohhhh the possibilty.

  • @shakedydogshake Hi There my friend, I,m so pleased that your

OK, I,m sorry you,ve felt really down and suicidal, life sure aint

easy at times, keep on fighting, things will get better, I do understand

what your saying, believe me, just keep on listening to this song,

And remember your never alone..I,m honoured to hear from ya ..!!

Just take each day as it comes, thats what I do, look after yourself m8....

    Best Wishes from shum.... :-))

once I,ve done them, so I hadnt seen this in ages...

Glad you enjoyed it, I think your right about it being my trade mark.

along with the HANDS,,he-he...I love your art also mate...!!!!

  • How beautiful shum! I've been enraptured with that mantra in this song for years.

"Heaven on this very earth. Seems impossible not to share it all".Those are the

very lyrics that led me to study the mistics within the western tradition, the women

especially. St. Claire of Assisi, Julian of Norwich, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Catherine of Genoa, Mechtild of Magdeburg. Much of the extant writings and

biographical materials pertaining to these ancient mistics confirm those very

    yearnings!

  • @blainebill39 Hi their Blaine, your so right about this almost mantra-

like track, another is "Amelia" it has such a strong chant-like quality,

I see it led you to studying the Mystics of the Western Tradition.

A perplexed and amazingly interesting subject for sure, I love all

kinds of mystics, and practice magic also,it would indeed be amazing

if we could achieve Heaven on this very earth, though sadly doubtful....

  • Hi their redwhisered...sorry for not being

able to understand what your saying, but I'm sure your a Cocteau's fan my friend..

    and thats all that matters...

  • i will try the traduction

with my dear carlota listened this song first time in 1988. Lima was very dark, sad and deep in that days, and we go to the penhouse for smoke grass ... that night we make magics trips and linstened a thousands times this song .... i miss Carlota so much... Reast In Peace

  • SHUM! great job "capturing" this track with all the startling GREYs especially, my friend... this tune is definitely one of those that gave Robin his reputation of creating a 'wash of reverb'!!!
