the grey garden is a wonderful visual creation that i have added to my favorites.......once upon a time i was a man with no favorites, now i am a child with hundreds of favorites and this is one of my favorites

so many parallels i see, but i suppose that is the way of art, isn't it? the parallels are to be made by the observers... i've just been watching a documentary titled "grey gardens" from the 70s /watch?v=nyaRYMFWYxs - and these words of yours here make me think of it, but for more reasons than the similarity of title... ♥

@FeministWhore Couldn't agree more. It's one of the most interesting things about making art for me... leaving a few doors ajar and seeing if anyone looks through the cracks. Hey, Rob.

Well it's very hard to say. Writing the music, poem and all that aside the tech part of putting it all together took about a week of nights but every project is different. The more time you put in the better it will be but compared to the 3d work I do After Effects is very fast. This was my first proper crack at the software so I was learning as I went. Knowing photoshop really sped things up. Best thing to do is just get your mits dirty and have fun with it.

This is still my favourite I think. I wanted a project to teach myself After Effects on. I'd written the poem a while back so I started painting all the parts and building a visual narrative - two weeks later it was done. Thank you so much for the kind comment.
