  • Comment removed

  • Outstanding performance. Loved the video.

  • 28 people had Marines steal their girlfriends.

  • @tropicalpimp You meant Army

  • woopedy doo i can spin guns,

  • @conkareno I want you to become a Marine, and "spin guns" do you know how much displince goes into that routine? its more to it than spinning rifles, smh you are ignorant

  • I'll leave the labels for the label minded. @ Hippies comment.

    Semper Fi.

  • The French military was supposed to do this but they surrendered so they called the usmc

  • @TheConnoe

    AHAHAH!

    This is Holywood, not military!

  • civilians love to watch this crap while other real marines r out in the field doing the real work (job) of an infantry man. the drill team is for geeks that cant handle the every day crap of the infantry. i know this bcuz i was in it for 6yrs. so dont anyone try to tell me what its all about. save it,dont want to here ur comments

  • Show some discipline to the frenchies lol!!!

  • Hey Al qaeda til ur camel mounters can come close to doing anything like this then don't even fuck with da best grunts in da world u sand monkies!!

  • Ooh Rah fellas...My dad and uncle are retired Marines. You guys do your thing

  • idiots, this guys right here are under 23 yrs old, you have to be single, no kids and learn how to be a tourist or a visitor guide for the people visiting white house and other memorials. once they are over 23 they could either get out of service or continue serving buy going to iraq. you think it's that simple huh. why dont you try signing up and see what military life is like on active duty.

  • @trishkaishi Before you go talking crap about the Marines, learn to spell. What are you like 12? Dude, if you live in the US, I'd love to come piss on your foot right now. If it were not for our boys, you would not even exist right now. Your little sorry ass might be speaking German, or Japanese.

  • intense

  • brings new meaning to an American in Paris

  • Can u imagine the pressure if you mess up :O!

  • @Terrapinfan2007 gtfo of here... these men are soldiers, they do go to war, they do fight... they go on a tour on this team for a year then new drillers come in and these men go back to being normal marines, the team is used to show pride and precision, its also not a bad recruiting tool, so you can post your stupid comment elsewhere

  • Do they jerk off in unison, too ?

  • i.love.the.grass! haha Sempi Fi!!

  • It's a good thing we make noisy guns.

  • I gotta say, these republicans like to march on grass all the time, where's the

motivation to create jobs? Must be waiting for the government to give them a job!

  • @Terrapinfan2007 what exactly does that have to do with creating jobs? FYI - for you liberal retards... more taxes for entitlement programs (a.k.a hand outs, a.k.a socialism) means less jobs, means less tax money, means less entitlement programs, means higher taxes (for liberal government), which creates a further downward spiral. Just sayin.

  • they must practice HUNDREDS of hours to get this down perfect o.0 absolutly perfect

  • Try this sh*t in Afghanistan see what happens....

  • @kizzam Yeah we're gonna send the silent drill platoon into combat with their deactivated m1 garands and dress uniforms. When marines need to kick somesones ass for them, there will be alot of drilling going on but it won't be smooth and silent. It will be the enemies ass getting drilled for them.

  • @kizzam how bought you try this shit in america i bet you will make yoursefl look like a fool enjoy the vid or dont watch

  • Thats whats up!! hells yea

  • ur right adele327. Darn frogs-clueless

  • My pop did this back in 62-64. This is the stuff that brainwashed me to enlist in the Corps. Nothing like it anywhere and this is a small portion of it.

  • always impressive to see USMC silent drill.

  • I like how in the end he fluffs his jacket. lol

  • Sir(s): If I may, "Men of Excellence are Precisely & Carefully Made by the Caring Hand and Excellence of Men." Here I see this, and this Embodies much of My Pride and Prejudice for All Manner of Our Life Here so Very American and Good. Thank you. Have a Nice Day. Godspeed. Et "Vive la France."

    Semper Fi Marines.

  • @Tdfries OORAH!!

  • lÒl_ÂnÿØnÉ_wáññä_chãt_wìth_me_i_fEÈl_sØ_lÔNÈlÿ_tÖDåY┌

  • Wow !!! What a very great performance. I can not believe those brave marine can do it till now. I can give them the highest honor for doing it. Am the 490 of the people who like this video. I do not know how 24 people did not. Perhaps either the mistakenly press the unlike bottom or they're blind or they think they can do better,...ha!ha!ha! Thanks starling 999 for posting/uploading this beautiful video.

  • this is my sisters you tube account and what they were doing is the man in the mirror i think i will be learning how too do that since i am on silent drill.

  • I saw the silent drill platoon at Marine Corps barracks in DC... unbelieveable... the Marines really bring it

  • DISCIPLINE, training that corrects, molds, or perfects the mental faculties or moral character!

  • Outstanding, ...but the US Army Drill Team does ir with their bayonets on, don't they? Greetings from Chile and ...Marines, Semper Fi!!!

  • Muito Bom!

    Greetings From Brazil

  • makes me wanna join the corps

  • amazing

  • two word FUCKIN AMAZING

  • Totally amazing, thanks for sharing buddy.

  • 22 people are blind.

  • I gotta say, the Yanks have style.

  • @Plekky08 Thank you :)

  • @Plekky08 Only yank Marines have style these days

  • @baldguy330 That's what you think. Wait till you meet a cockney =P

  • @Plekky08 Damn straight!!

  • My husband is a Marine veteran from viet nam. Two years ago, we were priveledged to see this performance when we where at his yearly reunion. It was so awsome! There are no words to describe the pride I had when I saw this presentation. We visited the Marine Corp. museum, which is awsome in its design and contents of the past history of the Marines. My most humbling experience was visiting Arlington and seeing the changing of the Guard. God Bless our Troups...

  • 21 jelious army troops missied the like button

  • That's an awful fancy way of inspecting arms there good sir.

  • @Darusdi Well, considering my just under 18 years of service in the Marine corps, I am possitive, while I know all Marines cannot handle a weapon like this, that all Marines can handle a weapon!! I've seen this group perform many times, and flawless always. This takes training, and dedication. I have no dilusion that I can do this, nor could 95% of every other Marine without training.

  • yep and if it would've been u.s. instead of france and the white house 200miles away the yanks would've been shit out of luck...

it's always amusing to hear those "anti french" jokes, just shows how much one knows about the history...

  • 1;42 the devildog on the right, his body was bent while catching the rifle

  • @banhmiso1 Don't worry, he'll be quarter decked later. rofl xD

  • 1:38 has to be the coolest exchange ever

  • Way to show the French how to do it. Oorah.

  • france is like =O

  • SPEECHLESS! WOW!!

  • HMKG kp 3 in norway are much better!

  • More of the Japanese army is good.

  • I could watch this shit all day. Awesome

  • So proud to be an American after watching you guys!!!

  • Get a uniform ,serve ,then make a comment. Most of us have.

  • This Is a statment too fucking cool of one. The Slowness is Showing respect, Detail to the weapon. who ever said this was gay go bleed out in a quite dark corner alone by yourself.

  • A Marine has More respect for his weapon than any other branch! We're taught the weapon is a part of us, and treat it as such.

  • @craigathrush Do you think every marine can handle a weapon like that? lol...

  • @Darusdei yes, yes they can.

  • J'aime beaucoup le calme, la rapidité et la précision de leurs gestes.Ça doit représenter un travail énorme, félicitation à ces marines.

  • unfuckin real..

  • awesome but kinda gay at 1:09

  • @re7urd RU FUCKING KIDDING ME KIND OF GAY! LETS SEE YOUR RETARD ASS HANDLE A WEAPON LIKE THAT. i THINK YOUR JEALOUS + inadequate as hell.

Nothing gay about the Corp. Only real men are Marines. unlike you probably a sloppy slacker civilian.

  • @TheAAdropout If I were to handle a weapon I wouldn't do it like that, hence my remark. as i said it looks awesome except for the looong stroking of the weapon that ruins it for me. And I've never said anything about the military being gay though your feelings I rather close to the surface.... hahahaha

  • Hawaii kings guard is way better

  • @1austin1000 ive seen the kings guard..it looks like they do some of the same routines as these guys.and they are voice cued .the marines do it without any cues.

  • @1austin1000 yeah OKKKKKKKKKKKK whatever floats your boat

  • the weapons have no blades it's to easy !

  • Makes me proud

  • fa-king great. MARINE!

  • Far less has scared the french into surrender. hoorah devil dogs!

  • @zarboe A firecracker would scare the French into surrendering

  • HOT! Looks good boys. ;)

  • come france, step up.

  • United States Marine Corps!

  • Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

  • Semper Fidelis !!!

  • c'est beau que magnifique!

  • Nice...

but the Lance was weak in 2 spots...

and that Cpl almost sent that rifle over the lances head...lol

  • after seeing the Marines the French surrendered "Just in case"!

  • Semper Fi Devil Dogs!! Represent and even on bad day you are still better than all others.

  • @777overtime theres always one big headed CUNT!

  • Awesome..... no wonder there can only be few....and only such few can be proud. That's the US Marines.

  • i would jus LOVE!! to stand next to a Marine in uniform...i wudnt stop smiling if i ever did...hehehe if give him a great big hug too :) and a handshake &!! i wana try on his hat too lmao!!

  • no1 i mean no1 can top these guys! this is super fresh!!

  • You see my little Al Aqaeda when the day comes when your little terrorist recruits can do something as disciplined as this then you can come and talk some shit. But for now feel the power BITCHES!!

  • @freedomfyter

lol everybody can do this with training and dedication ...

  • @Valkmir Do you realize how many recruits want to do this and fail? You said the magic word "dedication" but you forgot another word "skill" which doesn't exist in taliban's vocabulary.

  • @freedomfyter that's why cabombs in Times Square don't work... no skill.

  • @gmgartner hehe that's a good one!

  • 1:38 i love when they do thaat

  • God bless all of you in the USMC. May God protect you, who protect us! Semper Fidelis!

  • When I see any Marine drill team perform I get the chills.

  • the throw at 1:40 is amazing!

  • After opening the bolts on their rifles their head movements were off, but otherwise a great demonstration of their drill.

  • lol 1cj6 ur gun hate your life

  • In the name of God, I will in a couple of months join the ranks of THE FEW. THE PROUD. MARINES.

  • God be with you Marines, I see you on the front lines!

    OORAH!!

  • for what he is doing this?

  • holy mother...they only got clapping? they need some cheers and whistling for that

  • when i go into the marines corps in the summer, im aiming for this

  • you do realize that they are hand selected out of boot camp have to be about 6'1 to 6'3 sorry if im wrong but i know there is height regulations so good luck

  • i talked to my recruiter i know the specs of it

  • and also, my friend is in it, he is 5'9

  • im just telling the words that came out of my drill instructors mouth gl though semper fi

  • They allow them in if there a few in off cause they can add in to there shoes to make then the right height but its only been done a few times :/

  • You are not hand picked! Ya knob. You must have 2 year on station after boot camp! And or 3 years time in service. "If you knew anything about the Marines". You need to have a 300 PFT and yes you need to be 71" - 74" tall. And able to dead lift 200lbs. for burial ceremonies.

There is more to 8th & I detail. And while you're at 8th & I.... You "MIGHT" be able to try out for; "The Presidents Own".

  • Im just telling you thats what my DI told some recruit he probably just told him that to make him look like a ass

.. but ya sorry there bud didnt know i rubbed you the wrong way chill the fuck out

  • Two years on station and only one stripe? Any of these guy have combat experience?

  • @electricslipper what are you talking about one stripe if you are reffering to their ranks its a chevron not a stripe and 2 years is not a long time at all it take an average of 24 years to reach master gunnery sergeant and that takes 8 promotions so 2 years for PFC or one chevron is average

  • @ken0is0gay0fan0club It's really pointless ceremony and mindless ritual. Instead of looking all pretty and polished they should be with their brothers in harms way. When the fighting is finished they can come back and twirl their M-1s. Noticed that most of the fruit salad had no direct combat ribbons. It's a nice stage show and I am sure the guys in the land of sand are amused.

  • @electricslipper they may not have been to war but will go and are ready to go infact i think all these men are reserved so they wouldnt be able to fight even if they wernt on this team

  • @electricslipper No, Actually all of the Marines in the Silent Drill Platoon are Active Duty "Grunts" that Serve a Two Year "Cermonial" Duty. And most people that make it into the Platoons, have seen Combat or Action. And most of the time you will notice that most of these Marines are Corpral and Up, with a few Exceptions. Which means that most if not all of them have been Deployed.

  • @NeverLostHope93

Actually that is not true, if you look at their ranks the most common ranks in the silent drill team are Lance Corporals and Corporals, and most of them have not had combat experience look at their medals (in some of the other videos it is more prevalent) most of them only have two medals and they are 90% of the time not combat earned medals. The truth is alot of these guys (and this is all of the branches) do ceremonial duty right out of SOI or their respective schools.

  • @mgkusmc You would not qualify to do this if you had prior combat. First of all you can't possibly do this if u have PTSD. and 2nd of all this is a special drill team which requires u to eat, live, train and shit 2gether, Get me? Semper Fi!

  • @freedomfyter First of all I have seen and met members of the silent drill team who have prior combat experience. Now granted they are VERY far and few between. I'm meaning probably less than 1% of the silent drill team have been over seas in a combat zone. Also not every one who goes to a combat zone gets PTSD. and 2ndly every unit in the Marine Corps eat, live, train and shit together so....I'm not sure how your last statement applies. I'm going to have to do a second reply to finish this...

  • @mgkusmc The reason why we dont see so many with other awards than the two basic is because 99% of the Silent Drill Team is recruited right out of SOI. The reason for this being is that they are still in the "training" mind set 98% of upon graduating SOI had been in boot camp just two months prior, so it would make sense to recruit from those whose mind sets are still in a training mode and have a need for precision. Make sense?

  • son unos csm,,, mis gran sueño seria etsar ahi,,, se que lo haria biennnn!!

  • Excelllent!

  • I liked the "mirror" effect XD

  • how do you think is better guys? New guard america or the US marine corps silent drill platoon? I'm having trouble deciding still

  • i'd give the Marines the one up for being actual military (it seems more fitting), and i like how they snap every move and smack the rifle. They exhibit a more professional mood.

  • Comes in very handy when you are a team leader in McDonalds. Throwing burgers around and the like. It must be said that it is impressive 5/5 and Semper Fi too.

  • most impressive.

  • Ive seen silk that isnt that smooth...... 2 words FUCKING AWSOME

  • forget you punk

  • What hurts is reading your pathetic comment and your poor writing. These marines fight for you to make such comments. If you don't support them, then feel free to stand alone in the event we are attacked again.

  • What the hell is wrong with you? If you aren't going to stand behind our Marines, do us a favor and stand in front of them. Learn some proper grammar while you're at it.

  • France Drill team: WE GIVE UP! lol

  • lol good one. xD

  • @tarogun24 france doesn't have something like this.... They are too woos and gay!

  • Godly

  • That "walking so gay" is called "sliding and gliding" and when done as a unit, you'll never see a head bobbing up and down. It's like they're gliding on ice.

  • Amazing, I did not know that.

But surely it detracts from the experience to have columns of men seemingly float by, compared to having them march down all proper and military like.

I reckon the latter adds to the spectacle a bit, when all are in unison; except if one is out of step, then it gets ugly.

  • we sure did impress the french on this day

  • yes we did there bear grilz cant do that

  • Wow ..

  • They are walking so gay! But what they do with the rifels is great.

  • It still amazes me that some people just don't have an idea of what discipline, trust, accuracy, faith (in your fellow man), persistence, honor, valor, or pride is about. Right, eloyarizona ? I am glad that my tax dollars go to teach these men & women how to throw a gun. I'm proud that one of our own catches it! About walking in a straight line? About marching forward? How about the pride of having a clean weapon? You have a right to express your opinion. So do I.

  • skill haha good to know we have people like that protecting us
