What kinda surprised me was the low ranking of mana (We all owned it, didn't we? xD) and high spot for killer instinct. It MIGHT be better, but I didn't expect it to have sold more copies than MK Oo

@purvicide But let's be honest... does it matter? Even If it hadn't been been a bundle, SMW would have definitely sold the most copies ;-) (No it's not my personal favorite SNES game with Kart and Mana and all rivaling, but it adressed the biggest customerbase - as in "everybody")

@RDaniel88 Yes it does matter. Tetris is considered the highest selling game for the Gameboy, and I wouldn't have owned the damn game were it not bundled with the Gameboy. Counting these types of games as number one is a deceptive technicality.

@purvicide I totally understand your POV and since you mention tetris for example... i never owned that one for the gb. i think mine came with mario land (if thats possible... i cant really remember and dont wanna google research to look good) and i never cared for it either ;-) But Super Mario World? Cmon... who would not have bought that anyway? And even if you know some people, I'd still bet on it to be definitely top 2 and probably first ;)

Sure many people weren't into Jrpg at that time, but this publisher-mentality (them euros won't know what's good anyway) played a big part. Only thing besides the action-rpgs (mana, evermore, illusion...) was the simplified (yes, we are simpletons over here! ^.^) mystic quest. Wonder why it ain't even in the top 30 - should have definitely kicked one of those NBA games out oO

@Holret Oh boy Ih ad super mario all stars + super mario world cartridge, mortal kombat 2 (japanese version full of weird funny glitches) top gear 2, Zelda, DBZ super botuden 2 and many others...those were some really nice days, all of that was sold to buy my psone, and to date i'm a ps fan :D, i'd like to have my old snes back with those games though...

i remember i really liked the movie aladdin the move and when the game came out i got it for my birthday i was like 8 - 12 but i beat it and one day , i remember being happy i beat it so quick, but sad becaue it was over and i had to go back to older games like the nhl series for replay value, but aladdin , awesome game.

This list really surprised me. While it was obvious that Super Mario world would be at the top, and that all stars would be up there with it (both games came up the system, depending on which version you bought), NBA jam really surprised me. Same with super Ghouls 'n ghosts. I also did not think that Killer instinct would be so high on the list, and super metroid so low..
