  • My friend you have the best video on James Armenius, it deserves a better sound quality, i think your volume was low when recorded, so at times it was difficult to catch the full detail of your voice. Non the less is the best video on the matter. Thank You. Best regards

  • Thank you.

  • 2:10 - that joke made me LoL!! =D

  • The Arminians view is that God is not all powerful and that man is the hero.

  • How would that make God the author of Sin?

  • @Plaisir09 The Lord would not only have foreknown the fall, but would have created the willingness to disobey Him.

  • Romans 7 is talking about the struggle that the believer has in trying to serve God in the Spirit while being very aware of another law at work in his members, namely his flesh which cannot change. He delights in his inner man to serve the law of God (I believe only a Christian can thus do) but sees his in his members another law at work bringing him captive to sin. Read the scriptures carefully and you will understand the wonderful truth that the apostle is trying to reveal/explain. God Bless.

  • An absolute eye-opener. Even going back to Arminius himself there is always some piece of emotion floating somewhere in the doctrines of those with similar views.

  • Romans 9...

God has decided to obtain some vessels of mercy while bearing with the vessels of wrath fitted for destruction.

  • I think Calvinism is a half hearted approach to Christianity and if anyone calls themselves a Calvinist, then they are doing it to try and give others who view Christianity with repentance against the devil a bad name, namely arminian.. and then trying to turn the tables and say that we are Arminians and this is what we are like bla bla, to try and hide their own wickedness

  • Excellent job! Basic but amazingly helpful. Purists on either side might quibble with a moot point here or there but overall very good. You did fail to mention George Whitefield, Wesley's associate who was a Calvinist though. 5 enthusiastic stars! Makes my job a lot easier. God bless you:D

  • Glad you enjoyed it!

Please don't take my omitting reference to Whitefield as a sign of me not appreciating such a fine servant of our Lord.

    God be with you,

    Dan

  • Those two statements being made -- thanks for this video!

I appreciate some of the background and it definitely seems to be historical.

  • Therefore, God as He is, is already as loving as possible. Saying that God would be more loving to give men an ability to change their hearts, is to say that the God of the Bible is not loving, and that we know quite well just how to improve upon His love!! What treacherous ignorance of Scripture! And the real kicker is that all Christians upon conversion are Arminians by default and all unbelievers are Arminians by default. That is to say, the whole world is semi-pelegian to the core!!

  • One might also ask what sort of love is it that fails in its objective to save? Making it possible for all but not guaranteed for any is hardly true love. God loves His elect sheep. No reason in them. We do not know why for it is in His hidden counsel beyond the prying eyes of man.

Yet God is love! His love sent His only begotten Son to die for the elect. It was the great love of Jesus that compelled Him to lay down His life for His sheep. Why God loves the elect so fervently is a deep mystery.

  • I don't think the issue was love. How is it loving for the grace of God to be made fustratable? How is it loving for God to leave it up to people whether to be saved or not? Wouldn't they regret their decision through eternity, which would make both them and God eternally miserable? And then, of course, the issue is one of REALITY. The Bible is true, and God is no liar, so, we can trust His word. I don't have to defend God's love, I already know that God is loving as He is revealed to be.

  • Nicely done, very informative

  • Calvinism is a cult

  • Calvinism isn't a cult. They teach the Gospel, even if they are inconsistent to do so.

  • Thanks. :)

  • instead of going around website sayin empty things like "calvinism is a cult" why dont you make videos to supprt your empty claims....you really just sound like a moron

  • "Calvinism is a cult" ciacult

And you are a broken record! You prove John Locke's theory of tabula rasa.
