  • I loved Richway so much! I remember shopping there for stickers as a kid and my grandmother bought me a parakeet there for my birthday against my parents' wishes, and I remember I lost my purse and someone stole my $4 out of it but returned the purse to the customer service desk, and so many hours spent fantasizing about how if I won the Captain Crunch sweepstakes that gave you 5 minutes to get all the toys you want and whatver you got you kept... Ah Richway :)

  • I remember Richway.

  • Richway became Target

  • Richway was the place to shop for many of us middle class kids before Walmart in the early to mid 80s.

  • Richway was awesome. :-)

  • sapphire76, would you mind telling me where you shopped? where was your richway located?

  • It was on Hwy. 78 in Snellville in the Fountain Square Shopping Center.

  • I remember going to that richway store when i was little, but around 1989 it changed over to Target. I remember my parents went to the liqidation sale of the Richway before the Target conversion, and we also went ot the new Target opening. We did alot of shoping there, as we moved I found reciepts for building materials that my dad had bought. I remember they also sold pets and had a garden section as well.

  • fountain square has seen better days for sure. its still there mainly used as offices. i used to work at teh Tuesday Morning, which is located in a portion of where the old sears outlet used to be.
