Dude, how come I never heard of this guy n he's so good? N I'm sure everybody heard of lady gaga n the "stars" of today. I say we need to bring this shit up cuz its really underrated, the effort n everything. Maybe I'm talkin bout a guy I dont know, but we need to give it up for old school n true rap. Fuck the music I listen everyday on the stupid radio! Word
This is an era of hip hop back when you could spit over grimey beats and not be demanded having to rap as grimey as the arrangments/beats themselves. Almost everybody had bread, why you think the 1990s Jordan's decade look the coldest? Because even the working class family 14 yrs old had two pair from working from February until he got into 9th grade in high school back in September 1997 to1999. I miss the 1990s, I had so much fun! (born in 1983...)
@zdrnjabk4 Because I was raised in an economically, politically astute family, so when current issues of the day occured (1990-1999) it was up for discussion at our dinner table. Whether it was U.S. Surpreme Court Judge Thurgood Marshall retiring and being replaced by Clarence Thomas ('91,) Majic Johnson retiring from the L.A. Lakers because he has HIV, The Detroit Pistons winning NBA championships in 89' or 90 (I was at both series's games) The 1st war in Iraq...Continued...
@zdrnjabk4 Dudes N Detroit getting Shot 4 their Jordan's (I'm from Detroit, & my Moms wouldn't allow us 2 wear our J's 2 school anymore after that,) & the almost 10 years of back2back 1/4 U.S. economic growth (May '90-March '01,) we knew when a recession was going on, my Grand/parents made sure we knew how fortunate we were, w/additional non-holiday visits 2 the soup kitchen/homeless shelter/allowance charity donations; our daily dinner assembly would become an all-issues debate table, b4 age 7!
@zdrnjabk4 Shit, we even talked about how Will Smith, after his third album (in this corner/Single i can beat mike tyson) received a blessing in "Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire because he was near about to file bankruptcy. I was more than aware of so many things going on in the world because my family structure demanded such an awareness.
