These were powered by GM's 302 Inline 6 gas engine which made 140hp and 260ft lbs of torque. 4 speed 303M Hydramatic transmission. Same setup used in the GMC M211 or "G749" Series of Military Cargo Trucks in the 1950's.
That looked like it has an automatic trans- is that original? Were those powered with the then - new 6-71 GM diesel? I couldn't hear the engine very well to make out what it might be. I hope it's original though!
