@chaharlang actually if you want to get technical Khuda is not said in Arabic, and Doroud is Arabic as well, Doroud means Honors or Blessings in Arabic. Modern Farsi is replete with foreign words.So if you want to knitpick her Farsi I'm sure we can knitpick at yours as well. Now let the lady teach.

"Farsi" is a completely political term and it's rapidly falling out of use. It was re-awakened in the 70s in attempts to separate Iran from the Shah's regime. Anyone promoting calling Persian "Farsi" is actually committing a serious political faux-pas. Just as no English speaker says "I speak Deutsch" or "I speak Francais" neither ought they to say "I speak Farsi". The BBC Persian site is called "BBC Persian" for good reason, and I recommend the site if you're learning PERSIAN.

The actual term IRANIAN. The term Parsi was given to Iranians by the Greeks. Cyrus the Great was from Persis (Pars), he was "The Persian." So all Iranians were referred to as Persians.

Saying "Farsi" is just as right or wrong as saying "Parsi"... just a preference of pointing out our Greek or Arabic influence. Don't get overly sensitive and let people use whatever term they prefer....
