It's interesting, you can hear the music and tell that Olivier is playing the organ.... or not. Certainly one of my favorite organists out there.

As much as this is very clever. its all showmanship. if Widor.Vierne.Dupre turned up and started playing they would have wiped the floor with these guys. YES they are incredible organists. but at times i think they take the themes and speed playing a bit far.

@simonsteam I have to disagree to a certain extent as, although dupre's improvisations were very layered and more 'in depth' he was somewhat restricted to what he could do with his blindness. Also Viernes improvisations are fairly similar to Latry's. Although I would think Widor would prove a challenge

I can only imagine how hard it is to swap performers mid-improvisation!

Although, Olivier won that contest though - very few can compete with his improvisation skills. Oh, and the chamades look wonderful. Hadn't seen them up close before.

Look up Baptiste Marle-Ouvrard! He is the titularie at St Vincent de Paul in clinchy in Paris! Great improviser and a great composer! Apperently, he is also a pilot!
