@rescf02 I admid, you're totally right about that one, but if you look deeper into it you will see that most of the incidents occured somwhere in America (not neccessarilly the US)

But yes; BP should get a new leadership all the way from CEO (he IS replaced) and down to the regular foreman.

I think it's sad, because no one diserves to get injured or killed just because some billionaire (idiot) stockholders want to save every penny and give a rats ass about safety.

I've drilled on top drive & kelly rigs & just before stackin' I ran a ol kelly rig they fitted with a tesco TD & it had a ST80. I gotta say that during tripping ops I had to double the amout of scoops in the ol coffee maker to stay awake...boring. It's sometimes hard to stay sharp when things slow down to a crawl!!! The ST 80 was kinda nice for makin' up BHA's though.

The ST-80 is a great bit of kit. Is that a TDS11 TopDrive too? (I'm a bit sad).

You just need to get yourself a set of Power Slips and a pipe racker and you're sorted...
