@SpunkyShrimp there's another way to record, either you do micking or direct effects pedal to PC but that would sound very bad, Me? i use micking record, clean and i do get good sounds, look at my vids and you'll see, you only just need to have a mic, any mic like a mic in a headset would work, when you're recording put the mic near the speaker of the amp and there you have it at least not to near to speakers at least 2 cintemeters away cause you'll get Too much HISSS sound. Hope i helped you
