this reminds me of the song "Ring around the rosy, pocket full of posy, ashes, ashes, we all fall down."

(It means a pockmark with a red ring around it, and people would stuff their pockets with flowers so the smell would ward away the plauge. People burned the dead into ashes, and lots of people fell down dead.)

@coolirishrocker Nope! The writers happily say the sketches are sometimes Python-esque :D They want it to appeal to the family, not just kids, so a natural consequence of that was bound to be the incorporation of classic comedy influences :)

I visited my 6th grade social studies teacher on my last day off :) Her class was learning about the Black Death and when she asked if anyone knew what it was, one of the girls raised her hand and said, "Well, I'm glad you asked me that :)" And then she sang the song. Everyone looked at her strangely, but I laughed, clapped for her, then gave her a high five. Because she was awesome like that :)
