  • The guitar solo never ceases to amaze me on this track, most solos to me seem like a load of pretentious bullshit but this one serves a purpose and really adds something to the song :)

  • the clean vocals are really gay sounding but everything else is good

  • Judas Priest would never have sex with a shitty band such as Pantera.

  • @mightywarriorx moron.

  • when he's in the water, he looks like hansi from Blind Gaurdian

  • @jteachey2 ... but he looks a bit more evil ;)

  • sheperds piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie

  • I cant stop hitting replay

  • Holy motherfucking shit, vocalist is awesome. Sounds like motherfucking Halford!

  • DAMNNNN this is AWESOME!!! And i don't want to put labels, it's too awesome to be labeled)))

  • Biomechanical is such a great band in any of their forms. I hear a lot of Exhorder. Another one of my favorites.

  • Pantera + power metal. NICE.

  • @Commandaunt They had that power metal album, didn't they? - with "proud to be loud" and all that jazz. I guess I can hear the similarities.

  • Great song!

  • No One Kills it like Matt BARLOW!!!! and yo mamma yo bitck ass punk ma fukin bithch an bahlowww! Go Listen to mygrain yo pussy ass bich get some mygrain in yo dick hole u fuken murry hole licken flaba waba noonga fuken pussy dick cracka's! Demons & Wizards RULE! & are ya mumma'a cream pie! .Big Foots Dick Out.....of ya mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wahhhhh

  • more like exhorders second album guitars w judas priest

  • This guy sounds more like Halford than Ripper does.

  • psychotic waltz, meshuggah, judas priest and something else very very ugly...

  • Fackin ace song and band. :D Thumbs up from me.

  • Buen tema

  • if meshuggah is better than pantera I'm a better singer than bruce dickinson..

  • @Metalpefki meshuggah brought something new to the metal table, pantera ripped off exhorder. Though you could say meshuggah ripped off cynic however, they made fusionmetal brutal, pantera is just 4/4 shit meshuggah mixes up time signatures so many guitaraists play like dimebag darrel whereas fredrik thordendal actually makes inventive, avant garde, soloing that is just disorienting

  • @subhumanmaster i can't think of any guitarists who play like dimebag :P, and yes meshuggah is innovative, but sometimes simplicity rules, just as sometimes complexity rules, but all to taste of course

  • @zzzzzz69 well said!

  • @subhumanmaster Um, how the hell did meshuggah rip off cynic? If you've actually listened to the two bands they sound nothing alike. Sure, they can be classified within the same field of genre but they sound radically different. It's like comparing hatebreed to BFMV, both metalcore but different sounds, ya know? But I agree with your thordendal comment. His solo album is just wicked, if you've listened to it.

  • @screamjyser Meshuggah didn't rip off cynic but meshuggah but Fredrik's guitar playing takes influnece from cyyic not extremely visible but just a little but no they didn't rip off cynic at all

  • @subhumanmaster if anything, Fredrik's playing takes influence from Allan Holdsworth, not Cynic.

  • love the vox

  • chris webb is my guitar teacher.

  • LOL all the commentes about Pantera, but it´s true, I heard the vocal and said stop that! only Phillip Anselmo can do it, PUNK!!!

  • FANBOY!!!

  • fuck tht guitar solo is face melting!

  • \m/

  • how about enjoying bands rather than pissing people off by comparing them?

  • How about enjoying bands with new sound rather than bands trying to sound like others? Let's try look for quality, no quantity.

What I earn with thousands bands with same riffs, tones, voices?

And you know that this band sounds to much like Pantera, is matter of appreciation, and it's just my oppinion.

  • @zzzzzz69 Called trolling?

  • i like this way more than pantera this band is more interesting

  • no pantera and vinne vincent

  • wait maybe Pantera and DIO?

    lol

  • Its like if Pantera and Judas Priest had a child.

  • you forgot to add a prog and a symphonic band

  • True ! cheers !

  • @austinb7861 a three-way between Pantera, Priest and Queensryche.

  • This band is so awesome, it sounds like pantera, but not a complete copy, but not as good in my opinion either. There will only be one pantera.

  • Sounds more like Judas Priest imo. Just a little heavier instrumentally, vocally they sound the same on the high pitch sections.

  • the only thing that sounds like pantera are their guitars, they use lots of gain and treble in my opinion which is not necessary. other than that they are FAR superior in musical qualities (technique, vocals, orchestration) than the raw pantera sound.

  • Sozos9038 you are right about that there are many better groove metal bands than pantera meshuggah, zimmers hole, exhorder, strapping young lad, machine head, fear factory

  • this band is sick

doesn't matter if they sound like Pantera (wich i love too) or not. They f*cking rock, and this is what matters

    =D

  • schizo - metal? :p

Dont get me wrong this is amazing

  • three inches of bloodish, i agree with the pantera thing...but they really do make it their own kinda sound.

  • I think peope should stop trying to put their fingers on what it sounds like... To me they have a really well defined and individual sound, and should be appraised for what they conjure, not their influences. They sound like Biomechanical. To me that is all that matters.

  • Man, this is an easy one to compare. You add Pantera to King Diamond. Argument's over.

  • Pantera? lol

  • thats just what i was thinking

  • There so much more than just Pantera. They have elements of Judas Priest, Maiden, and more.

  • Is that a good or a bad thing though :P

  • Good thing definitely. The day it's a bad thing to sound similar to Pantera is the day the world ends :D

  • do you actually listen to pantera?? sounds nothin like em! EXPAND! lol good stuff though!!

  • the guitar tone, and the bass does sound similar to pantera... and the vocals has its moments of sounding a bit like phil

  • I disagree man, they definitely do have a pantera tinge to em'. If you can't hear that then I think it's you that needs to expand.

It's definitely a good thing though - Pantera never get old, I still love em as much today as I did 10 years ago!!!

I've not heard this band before but I'm so glad I stumbled across this. They've got elements of many awesome bands.

  • The voice is a bit similar to many parts.

  • Kickass, interesting voice.

  • the singer kinda looks like frank zappa lol

  • ha he kinda does lol

  • If ANYTHING, this band resembles Strapping Young Lad circa 'Alien' or 'City' era. This is the most chaotically heavy shit I've heard in years.

  • *sigh* if anything could even come CLOSE to those albums ever again. Biomechanical is definitely a worthy runner-up, though.

  • fucking sick boys

  • brutal anyone got tabs?

  • There other songs are amazing aswell. The singers voice reminds me of james labrie.

  • hippies? what the fuck is wrong with you?

hipppies are douchebags who play acoustic guitars and where sandals, tie-dye shirts and coloured sungalsses, smoke pot all day, and talk about corporate control, despite the fact that they know nothing about true communism. these guys are among the furthest thing from hippies!

  • It`s almost like listening to pantera :-O

  • which makes them brutal fuck yeah!

  • hahahahh are u mental? there elements of thrash metal but this is not thrash

  • i don't know. his falsetto voice is good, but imo it just doesn't go well with the rest of the song.

  • falsetto and head voice are the same thing, you're refering to chest voice. but no, this is a mixture of falsetto (or head voice) and chest voice. and no dude falsetto does not have to sound wimpy at all...didn't you ever listen to judas priest!?

  • cool vid and song :D

  • Its sounds like Pantera meets The Darkness lol,

but seriously though, it fuckin rocks!!!

  • His falsetto vocals are perfect in the sorta cinematic side of things... and just generally amazing. I don't get why people don't like it. Listen to his singing on Eight Moons- he's actually one of metal's most talented vocalists. Also, try his vocal work of Blanace of Power's Heathan Machine.

  • Iron Factory?

  • Awesome song... Love the progressive stuff on it!

    Awesome... really!

    They rock!

  • Ripper Owens meets Fear Factory. Not bad stuff.

  • All i know is that these dudes smoke almost any metal band out there...easily. No questions asked. They fuckin rock. Progressive fuckin borderline- death metal???? are you fuckin kidding me??? they are the shit folks.........my dream band at the very least.

  • damn, why does he have to scream in a high octave like a bitch?

  • I am so surprised you said that!! I am disapointed in you girl.....I thought you loved metal. These guys are the shit. damn it!!!!!!!!bummed out.............

  • omfg...plz forgive me...i was only being honest...u know me...i looooooove metal. i just don't like that high pitched yell. it ruins the music for me...omg..i don't know what to say. i feel like i just got busted doing something bad...i realllllly like the music...and i like the regular scream, just not the real high one..omg, omg..

  • your pissing em off girl........

  • me? why? i didn't say anything else? wtf?and who are em anyway? i love the music, i really do..

  • the high voice screws the song up, goddamn

  • i like his phil anselmo voice, but not his high voice :o

  • Ohhh look, Bruce Dickinson and Phil Anselmo had a child.

  • love this record!!!!

  • good band

  • Gothvamps! really it says it all! Fuck you and go bum abit of Marylin Manson! You emo fag!!!

  • ... Gothvamps? You've got some stuff mixed up there. Biomechanical, or metal in general, has nothing to do with the goth subculture. Nothing at all. Then again, why do I even bother trying to educate lesser beings?

  • This song and this band kicks huge amouts of ass. They should be more known than they are. ROCK FOREVER!!!!

  • eh there not that bad, instments are good but gods his vocals suck ass man, his voice make me want to kill babys.

  • u cunt

  • you sad little turd!go nag/bitch for having no life somewhere else-here it's not appreciated...

  • You can definitely hear the Halford and Anselmo influence in his voice, but can anyone else hear the Geoff Tate influence? Or is it just me? Not as much on this song as other songs on the album.

  • yes. absolutely i can. I can hear alot of different people in his voice. Thats a good thing. This is the older band. The new band is also bad ass. A whole different band now. They have Gus Drax, new guitarist on board and a new singer. Check em out. Gus Drax does some solo shit that rocks...

  • New singer? John K writes the music and sings. It wouldn't be Biomechanical without him, quite literally under contract. How do you mean?

  • my bad.

  • hmmmm.. combind PRIEST PANTERA AND METALLICA and u get biomechanical...... PROGressive Industrial...lol u suck...

  • Why this band can't sell is beyond me, maybe they are just too far ahead of their time, the kids just don't get it for some reason, amazing band

  • Well said mate.

  • I think this consititutes of everything that makes a perfecty metal song, Powerful falsetto screeches, massive riffing, intense drumming (that scream epic), huge chorus and the incorporation of cinematic elements. And yet, it's never be done by any other band, sucessfully. I also have to add this is one of the greatest metal videos ever, too. Sheer perfection. UNDERATED!!!!

  • For some odd reason i really like this .

if Phil Anselmo and Rob Halford were to mix it would sound something like John K.

and in some of their new tracks the music's really interesting theres sweeps , vocal style changes , overlapping things , and the drums fit perfectly

if they were trying to be different they definitely succeeded

i think this band is either a hit or miss to people

    but i like it

  • Yes there is only one singer, but he has an unbelievable voice! He is John K. or ''Giannis Koutselinis'' when he was still living in Greece back in the 80's. Unfortunately I can't find anything on youtube on his 80's band ''deceptor''. He was the new Rob Halford in Greece at this moment! Go John GO!

  • is there only one singer?

  • Yes. Only one.

  • Listen to his new band Solsikk

  • I get taught guitar by the ex guitarist Chris Webb!

  • damn

    i fucking love this track!!

  • I'm interested in the Framus Dragon head and I saw you endorsed them and more importantly, used them - well the Cobra head, anyway.

    How do you find them?

  • The ex-Biomechanical guitarists used Framus Amps.

    We use Peavey now.

  • Ah, sorry guv', didn't mean to offend. What amps did you use on this recording? If that's alright to ask after what I said? :(

  • This recording is of the ex-guitarists. Of the three albums complete, they were all played by the ex-members. The last band (drums bass and all) quit right after the completion of the latest album, and were quickly replaced by the hands John K, the singer a writer of the music.

    Just so u know.

I have no life, you see.

    ...

    .

    My favourite band, ya see.

  • One of the most epic metal songs ever and by far the most epic metal video ever. The only song's as epic are their own Through Hatred arise, Absolution and Consumed. Oh hell, just buy all the albums (which, btw, were techniqually written whilst Jamie Hunt and Chris Webb were the guitarists, the new members don't really have anything to do with it so far apart from playing live shows)

  • What timing is the intro in? clearly not your average 4/4.. i cant tell though :S

  • 6/4 dude!

    Thanks for your interest!

  • No problem mate, i had heard of biomechanical before and decided to check them out.. and this song is really great, im going to consider buying a few albums and hopefully catch these guys live sometime. Are you in the band aswell mate? Im just getting that impression haha.

  • Yes dude.I'm the guitarist.Gus Drax here

  • OMG in that case let me tell you that I think that Biomechanical is the most brilliant and original band around these days man! I hope you guys come to south america some time, if you want check out my guitar cover of the song Enemy Within!

  • Thanks for your words my friend

I hope we'll come to your place soon!

  • Skistous re Giannh!eisai arxontas

  • My new favorite band. I love how these guys blend technical metal with thrah and industrial into the most perfect brutal concoction I ever heard.

  • my mate from the dead lay wating, has got the lead singer as their band manager, the guy is epic

  • hahaha! ibanez own again! :p

  • They sound like Pantera..

  • haha the mouth expressions at the beginning of the video are hysterical.

  • i get the same thing with this band as i do with nevermore.

musically they are fucking ruuuude, but i can't get past the vocals.

  • Yeah well it's something different instead of the same vocals that we've heard in about another 1000 or so bands xD

  • this is the first time i listen this song its way too good!

  • The lead singer is on speed!

You can tell he has talent but he's so all over the place...its kinda overbaring.

  • Yeah, I agree. Maybe some part without any song would be nice...

  • Well, you could try the Balance of Power album "Heathen Machine" with John K. He is less dominant than here, the music is different, and even the way he uses his voice is different. Sound is more polished, more clean. It COULD be your thing.

  • Actually, this music is not my style at all, I find thrash and thrash related rather boring. I am more of a death/black metal follower.

  • Well if your talking about early death/black metal, the biggest influence to them bands was thrash lol

  • thats a fucking great album, john in geoff tate mode.

  • I hear so much pantera in it its not even funny!

    It's still good though.

  • heard gus messed with this band and got excited.

--hit play and several minutes later-- very disapointed.

not going to say anything bad, they probably are good just not my genre. so i'll them and the theres respect by not hating.

  • fucking hell this is AMAZING

  • This solo is so sick!

  • Check out my guitar cover of Biomechanical´s "Enemy within":

    watch?v=G-9UDdpxIqc

  • This band are ok well they were good until all the band left apart from the lead singer. Who went man with power and the others left because well he was crazy. Anyways i get guitar lessons from the lead guitarist and he's amazing. One of the best ive seen.

  • They left?I heard the Drummer got sacked and some time after the two guitarists were also asked to leave!

Liked the old band live but prefer the new band can really hear the riffs now.

  • Yeah you can hear the difference but tbh this band aint gunna get anywhere. And really the leadsinger went abitcrazy as i said. He now want with his new band to have his own mini buss. tbh i just think he got too stressed about with it all.

  • Uhm... might be better with different vocals?

  • aahahahahahahahh!!! the solo!!!!!

  • My friend got to meet them, up close, and personal, I'm so jealous... :(.

  • Mate i get guitar lessons from the lead guitarist.

  • Why havn't I met them yet. :(

  • The vocals are like...Into Eternity mixed with Iron Maiden...lol I LOVE IT!!!

Plus Adrian Lambert (the bassist)was in DragonForce...and I'm a huge fan lol

  • I love metal, this is definitely one of the good ones ^O^

  • the vocals are....different!

  • Even Bruce respects them........

  • i really want to like this but the constant changing of vocal style detracts a bit from the music

  • I agree; the music rocks but the singer kills it...

  • You mean like how mike patton changes styles all the time?

  • his vocals are fucking amazing, whatu talkin' bout cleavis!

  • Awesome band!Progressive gains a new meaning.

The vocals in some parts reminds me the GIANT Fil Anselmo...Still badass singer badass band.

    /Cheer xD

  • I prefer the vocalist "John K" singing in the Balance Of Power... He sings too much. I am brazilian

  • Biomechanical are a fucking boss band. This is some of the best new thrash I've heard in a long time.

  • this remenber me masacration xDD

  • I fight the empires of the worlds

    Prolonging your demise

Blood red skies are open wide

Fight the empires of the worlds

    For we the human race
