  • awesome shit

  • Balll on rocket man!!! spectacular

  • Holy Shit Flint, That is bad ass !

  • Nice idea, fine arrangement. Unfortunately the articulation isn't very clean and accuracy is questionable. It actually sounds like he gets lost a few times. Again, I like the arrangement but the execution definitely leaves something to be desired, especially because the bar has been set so high for Warr and Chapman type touch instruments.

  • i wish he walked when he played the walking part. Power to the bassists:P

  • :O (loose jaw)

  • Oh, crap. After 40 years, I guess I will just take my axes to curb. I thought I would be slick if I recorded an overdubbed version of this. Now this guy plays the shit live!

  • Is it a Warr guitar? I've been debating between saving up for one of those or a custom 8 string.

  • WOOOW

  • Excellent. Great discipline. Musical as hell.

  • sick

  • Incredible, impressive, gigantic. . .

    Congratulations, my boy !!!

  • My jaw is on the floor. A fantastic rendition of my favorite Brubeck song.

  • i used to go to a private school so our band was 9 kids.. my freshman year, there was a guy with a stick and we played blue rondo, it was pretty sick... i was fumbling along trying to play the melody on my trumpet lol

  • the stick!

i just played a musical where a dude had the stick

it is by far the coolest thing ever

  • Not a stick. A 14 string Bianco style guitar. Basically two 7 strings on the same neck built by luthier Bob Mason. Bianco was Flints' teacher and owns the original 14 string. Only two have ever been made.

  • hey, i saw you last night at churchills, good shit.

you should definately play this next time.

  • thanks brother!

i'll perform this tune next time if you are there to request it :-)

  • killer improv. dude, keep it up!

  • Deus do céu!!!! o cara é um MONSTRO! Socorro!!! Ave, São Flint!!! Maravilhoso! Incrível!!! Bah, Tchê....

  • Im relatively new to jazz music, i just recently found out how much i love it, and brubeck is one who totally got me lovin jazz, blue rondo a la turk is probably one of my faves that and take 5, can we see you do a version of take 5? that would be awesome.. i know benson does a wicked rendition and with your ability i know you would make it pretty cool!!!

    thanks

  • thanks! I recently uploaded a video of take five.. check my other videos, it's in there somewhere

  • Excellent! I think I hear some Stanley Jordan influence in your playing.

  • and the NICE version is the best.

    LES VICTOR

  • This is definitely your best one. You're very talented.

  • Man I love this song

  • gotta love brubeck

  • brubeck... classic.

  • Fanfreakintastic. I love this tune, and it's played so well!

  • dont give advancewarsaddict such a hard time, everybody. he was just speaking his mind, which is healthy. extremely well-played, dude. thats one of my top favorite dave brubeck songs

  • hey thanks, it's also one of my favorite brubeck songs.

and you're right. i appreciate peoples' criticism because it'll help me to grow.

  • WOW, Great!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL

    VERY GOOD MAN!!!

    IGOR

  • I can't actually believe people aren't shouting too loud to hear the song... I would've, of pure astonishment...

  • wooo who cares? country jazz whatever?? great job man!!!

  • very nice piece . advancewarsaddict you have a big mouth , show your piece on youtube

  • NOOO!!! NO NO NO!!! The improv is waaaay out into outer space. Totally out of sync with the rest of the piece.

    j/k j/k great job. ^_^

  • You're completely right.

    I'm sorry.

    I shall never improvise again.

    EVAR.

  • You did a fine job with the "normal" part of the piece, I'm just saying the improv bit is a little out place. You kind of did a laid-back country style improv, which itself was fine, but it was out of place amid a classic jazz piece.

  • amazing, that was truly a great version of this song. impressed that you managed to play all parts of the song on the one instrument. Nice work

  • Thanks!

That song took quite a bit for me to learn. I played it at school for my guitar jury (like a final exam for guitar). They still wouldn't accept it as an instrument though. They felt a pick was necessary.

Not that there's any bittnerness there! LoL!
