Right since everyone's arguing on which one is better, I'd like to get my say in this.

Who cares? People can make their own choice on which one is better, no need to complain to everyone on Youtube about it! Just buy both games, play them for a bit, then decide on which one you prefer. Skate has more realism about it, where as Tony Hawks has a slightly better trick variety.
