I think you should really know that this song was written by Kate way back in the 80s . Its her creation from a phenomenal album . Placebo has the advantage of high insight and slows down the tempo . That might appeal to some but it drags after a while ,after all the song is about "running up that hill " However , Placebo has a place for bringing a classic to a wider ,younger audience .

@TheWoodlandWitch55 Wouldn't quite say they're for a younger audience mate, placebo are more old fashioned than a lot of the 'old' bands about now, if anything they're for more a 30's age range, as for the cover, it's amazing for the very reason that they managed to cover a song into a style that sounds nothing like the original, which takes more talent than you can even imagine
