i did sorta the same thing a few weeks ago...i got a new hat (its a ninja bunny ^^) and i wore into the chinese buffet later that day just so i could see how people would react...there was a bunch of old people there and they just stared at me it was awesome

I'm gonna be doing that, as Riku (from Kingdom Hearts) while he's in his Organization cloak >.> I need to find his outfit though, so security won't throw a fit with the cloak. But I'm gonna film my adventures as various cosplays :D

xD Ah, this is great. Last con I went to, my friend and I went to the restaurant that was right below where the con was being held, and had to explain to the cashier what was going on (he was pretty polite about it, though, and actually seemed interested and more confused than anything else).

I've done that before, I was Hunny and I was talking like him in his high voice. Okay, well, I'm an 11 year old girl and that's why I choose Hunny instead of Haruhi, but when I went out to go on arrends for my mom, I was in my Hunny cosplay because I was about to go to a con, but on the way there I had to go to the grocery store, little kids kept coming up to me and saying "Why do you have a bunny?" or "Why do you look like a freak?"

I walked around the roughest part of London in my cosplay, I was Hollow Ichigo (the white version) with makeup and white faces/arms. It was fun carrying that big sword and getting looks!

Similar happened to a friend and I a couple of years ago when we stopped at a Sonics. What made it worse was that the convention was just after Halloween, so people were asking things like "Oh, are you having a Halloween party?" "...No. We're cosplaying." "Oh. That's nice..."

Me and my friends went dressed as characters from Naruto. One of my friends was Kankuro, so she had to have lots of face make-up on. When we walked into a restauraunt, a kid pointed at us and got pulled away by his mother, who looked at us like we were mad. My friend was blushing so much! It was hilarious.
