Maybe the guy singing was one of the band members trying to help her because her earpiece wasn't working. On stage singing they have a hard time without a piece because of the echo and feedback. Maybe he was trying to help her know where they were at in the song. Either way, I feel really bad for her and this was the super bowl!! I almost hope someone lost their job over this. In fact, they probably did!!

Did the band even play live?

It all sounds much like the track.

It kind of seems like they were having mic troubles so they just blasted teh track and you'd hear live Kelly every know and then.

I'm not saying she lip synched, but man that's some crazytechnical difficulties and it's sad how upset she looks about it.

she didn't lipsync, they just sometimes play the instrumental back up track with background vocals instead of the band playing. her mic wasn't nearly loud enough (as you can tell from the bridge when you hear the male backup singer 10x louder than her)

yeah, it did, they both had to take their 'in ears' out...the difference is Kelly is good at what she does an has an amazing voice...and Ashley, well, doesn't. When Kelly was singing you could tell it was just an Audio problem NOT a vocal problem like Ashley.
