@marylorraine11 What is with people like you? I swear, every time I see a video of a bird there's at least one knucklehead like you snarking or screeching about the animal being "trapped in a tiny cage," regardless of the bird's actual living conditions.
And, you know, this is at an animal rehabilitation center, which is the exact opposite of a place where animals are abused. Maybe you should start reading video descriptions before commenting, hmmmm?
Foolish idiots, you do realize that barn owls are some of the most sensative owls out there, right? Not only did you upset that owl, but you made them feel threatened. They don't register certain things as "helping" and with the way that you were holding him, he was crying out because he felt you were trying to kill him. Nicely done on traumatizing a beautiful animal. He'll never forget that. I do hope that you've at least TRIED to apologize to the young beaux.
Yeah, pretty sure they know that. You'd have to be pretty stupid not to (making your haughty vitriol even more ridiculous). C'est la vie. It's always a struggle to work with animals, but it needs to be done.
@Zeverai Waaaaah. I'm sure the owl is fine, maybe if he's traumatized, he'll stay away from humans. Which would probably lessen his chances of getting hurt by one, and he wouldn't have to end up here and be "brutally maimed and traumatized" by these people, because, you know, they totally do that at a rehabilitation center :P
Hello there! When taking out birds of any kind, it's always best to have their head covered. It lessens the stress to a degree and then they also can't see who/what to bite at. When it was taken out of the carrier initially its head was covered by the sheet that was used to grab it with, but he got his head out from under that, hence me tossing a towel to try and cover his head back up.
As smart of an idea as it was, it could of been done with a bit more tact, at least, i think thats how the owl took it, roflol. You tossed the towel on it, and it got supremely pissed, flapping and screaming the entire way. I commend you all on your work, but have to laugh at how the owl took its treatment.
@CTwin2 Technically, aren't you supposed to burrito them so that their wings aren't flailing around? Would take care of keeping their head covered at the same time....
He's scared to death why do they keep owls in dog carriers i mean give em' some room to spread their wings

@Zeverai Wow, you are such a jerk for attacking people who work at an animal rehabilitation center. Shame on you.
