Same goes with the English selection. Everyone is so insecure with their parts that it just sounds messy until it goes into unison parts. The scat portion worked well but not enough to save the performance. It just felt too military in style with no expression whatsoever. Just imagine if the scatting repeat was done with dynamics...what an impact that would have made!! Soft with a impending bass line "dum dum dum dum" ever growing until the last boom back into the chorus.
Tanahairku started promising then just got..uhm..lazy. It just gets lethargic from the second verse, especially with the guys drowning the gals in all parts. This would have been OK if the song didn't have so many counter parts (it worked in the 3rd verse..MARI KITA BERDOA..sound nice from there for 3 lines).
