@Annizz1991 its parents were born and kept in captivity at the myrtle beach safari and gotten used to each other. the ligers' birth were completely unexpected. look up "Liger on Friday Nights with parents". and you say no animal in its right mind would mate with another species? oh really? every heard of a wolphin, a zedonk, or a mule? the only news ive heard about illegal breeding between a tiger and a lion was in taiwan when it unexpectedly had 2 liger cubs.
It could also be a tigon.
