Great great interview! I don't know what to say. Mark Bauerlein touches on a lot of valid points and issues and as a whole he is spot on about today's present youth generation. I got to stop being lazy myself and check out his book soon!!

Baurlein raises some interesting points but to stereotype an entire generation is inaccurate and unfair. He presents no evidence to link use of digital technology to lower academic performance or diminishing critical thinking.

He argues "they" divide their academic lives from their personal lives and they don't relate their studies to their lives but what is new about this? That has been a complaint of teachers since the beginning of time.
